Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Girl in the Rain

Chapter 1: The Girl in the Rain

The rain was falling heavily that evening.

Arman stood at the bus stop, holding his bag tightly while watching the raindrops hit the road. The sky was dark and the wind was cold. People were rushing home, but Arman seemed lost in his thoughts.

Life had never been easy for him.

He worked during the day and studied at night, trying to build a better future for himself. Love was never something he thought about.

Until that moment.

Across the street, he noticed someone.

A girl was standing alone in the rain without an umbrella.

Her long hair was wet, and she looked a little confused as she checked her phone again and again. She seemed to be waiting for someone who wasn't coming.

Arman watched her for a few seconds.

Something about her felt different.

He didn't know why, but he suddenly felt the urge to help her.

After hesitating for a moment, he walked across the street.

"Excuse me…" he said softly.

The girl looked up.

For a moment, the world seemed to stop.

Her eyes were bright and calm, even in the heavy rain.

"Yes?" she asked.

"You might get sick standing in the rain like this," Arman said awkwardly. "You can stand under the bus stop roof if you want."

The girl smiled a little.

"Thank you," she said.

Her voice was gentle.

She walked with him to the bus stop and stood beside him.

For a few seconds, neither of them spoke.

Then she asked, "Do you always help strangers like this?"

Arman scratched his head.

"Not really… I guess today is a special day."

She laughed softly.

The sound of her laughter was strangely comforting.

"I'm Maya," she said.

"I'm Arman."

The rain continued to fall as they talked.

Neither of them knew it yet.

But that small moment…

standing together under a bus stop in the rain…

was the beginning of a story that would change both of their lives forever.
