Chapter 1 - Lightlock Chapter 1: The Luminous Flame

‎The war between the races across the Land of Luminous Flame has left it in ruins. The Lightlock race took the lead in ending the conflict, bringing a fragile peace. However, after the peace talks, outsiders from neighboring lands attempted to seize the Land of Luminous Flame, drawn by its beauty and gold. To protect their homeland, the Lightlock people sacrificed themselves to create an Ultimate Warrior. Now, only 23 pure-blooded Lightlocks remain, and they are no longer reproducing, weary from endless battles.

‎Afterdark, the sky began to shower lights across the world. The Land of Luminous Flame witnessed the Blessings of Light descend upon the Stone of Light. From this miracle, a baby was born—without a name and without parents. King Henry of Lucindor traveled to the site where the Fallen Light had landed. Struck by the sight of the lifeless Lightlock race, he commanded his men to adopt the child, watching solemnly as the last of the Lightlocks lay fallen.

‎The nameless baby was adopted by King Henry's loving wife. Their first son, Leonidas Vanguard, had been slain during the war. The queen suggested naming the baby after their fallen son, but King Henry hesitated, feeling it might be wrong to replace their own child with someone else's. In the end, he agreed, with a slight change, and the child was named "Leoruxion". However, they could not give him the royal surname, as he was not biologically their own. Seeing this, King Henry's most trusted knight proposed giving the boy the last name Lightlock, honoring the legacy of the fallen race.

‎Five years later, Leoruxion began to show faint signs of his mysterious power. King Henry realized that the boy could be trained into a great warrior, capable of protecting their city from unknown threats. He instructed his trusted knight, Gabriel, to train Leoruxion every day. Unlike other children, Leoruxion spent most of his time honing his skills, living a life of discipline and training.

‎After years of rigorous practice, Leoruxion finally discovered the full extent of his abilities, and Gabriel, who had been by his side all along, noticed it as well. The bond between them grew stronger than any Leoruxion had known. With his powers developing, Leoruxion began to dream of adventure beyond the city walls. Driven by curiosity, he started using his abilities to explore the lands outside, wandering farther than anyone ever expected.

‎Leoruxion wandered through the forest and stumbled upon someone being chased by minions of the Darklord. The man, an elf, tried to get up, but Leoruxion stopped him, asking why he was running in such a hurry. The elf ignored him and continued fleeing, unwilling to waste time on a conversation. Intrigued, Leoruxion followed, quickly realizing that the elf might be dangerous—he had apparently stolen an orb from the Sunder Dark Forest and could expose him.

‎The elf tried to threaten Leoruxion with his sword, but then noticed the Darklord's minions still in pursuit. Realizing they had a bigger threat to worry about, the elf called for Leoruxion to follow him. Leoruxion hesitated, but when the elf apologized for his rudeness, he decided to trust him. Together, they ran, dodging the minions as they fled deeper into the forest.

‎After an hour of running, they finally found a place to hide from the pursuing minions. Leoruxion turned to the elf and asked his name. The elf replied, "They call me Sol," explaining that it was his last name, but his people preferred to use it as his identifier. Leoruxion introduced himself, and Sol's eyes widened in shock when he realized that Leoruxion was the adopted son of the king.

‎Curious, Sol asked why he was wandering outside the city. Leoruxion simply answered that he wanted to explore the world. Sol then asked if he could fight, to which Leoruxion replied, "I don't know." Sol laughed, but their moment of levity was cut short as the minions discovered their hiding place.

‎The minions charged at Sol, but Leoruxion acted instinctively, striking down two of them before they could reach his companion. The remaining seven minions now recognized him as a threat. Leoruxion and Sol teamed up, fighting side by side. The battle was intense, a true test of all the years of training Leoruxion had endured under Gabriel. In the end, the two of them emerged victorious, defeating the minions and surviving the first major battle of Leoruxion's life.

‎Leoruxion finally asked Sol why he had been running and noticed something in Sol's hand. It was the corrupted orb from the forest. Sol explained that he needed the orb to forge his double-edged sword, which would allow him to defeat the strongest elf in the land. Understanding the importance of Sol's mission, Leoruxion let it go and instead asked for directions to Ember Falls.

‎According to his mother, Ella, the wife of King Henry, Ember Falls had the most breathtaking scenery in the land.

‎Sol gave him clear directions and thanked Leoruxion for helping him fend off the minions. With that, the two parted ways, and Leoruxion set off, following the path Sol had described.

‎Leoruxion finally arrived at Ember Falls at night, and the beauty of the place took his breath away. It was the most magnificent sight he had ever seen. The water glowed a brilliant azure blue, the grass shimmered with rich green hues, and vibrant flowers bloomed everywhere. Colorful fish swam gracefully in the streams, the moonlight reflected perfectly on the water, and enchanting creatures roamed the area. On top of a majestic tree, a magical girl was sleeping peacefully.

‎When she noticed him, she assumed he was spying on her and launched a firecracker in his direction. Leoruxion dodged it just in time, surprised not only at her agility but also at the dazzling display of her powers.

‎Leoruxion asked the girl why she was here. She replied that she just wanted to relax after practicing her magic. Curious, he asked if she was from Lucindor City. She nodded and explained that she often ventured outside the city almost every day to train.

‎Her name was Rein Seraphim, the granddaughter of the Great Wizard of Lucindor City. She introduced herself formally, and Leoruxion did the same. Rein, slightly annoyed by the length of his name, decided to call him Leo. He liked it immediately—it felt simpler, more natural, and somehow fitting.

‎they sat together on top of the tree, talking and relaxing, soaking in the peaceful vibes of the night. Suddenly, the bushes below began to shake. Leo noticed immediately and urged Rein to follow him, sensing that something was lurking nearby.

‎Rein acted quickly, showcasing her magic. With a wave of her staff, she made them vanish from the sight of the unseen lurkers, keeping them safe from whatever threat was approaching.

King Henry send his men to find Leo and bring him back to the city because the Great Wizard warn him that there is Danger just arrive in the Land of Luminous Flame, something unhinged and evil. Leo and Rein are running away from the Men King Henry sends, Rein had an idea to go to some cave to find a gem that can forge her magic staff. Leo just wants adventure so he agreed to her suggestions, they entered a random cave but didn't realize someone is stalking them inside the cave.

‎Both of them are wandering around cave for an hour but still can't find a gem, Leo sense that someone is actually stalking them the whole time and told Rein to cast a Blue light and finally revealed who is stalking them the whole time. A dark creature with a purple cloak that looks like weak and scared, Leo and Rein get out of the cave while carrying the creature. Rein healed the creature while Leo is trying to figure out what kind of race is the creature, Rein saw a gem beneath the cloak of the creature and thought of stealing it but Leo doesn't agree, the creature finally recovered and thank Rein for healing him.

‎Leo asked if the creature is okay and the creature replied "yes, I'm fine" and then Rein asked if "what do you do to that gem?" and he replied it's important to him but didn't explain further.

‎The creature revealed its name: Helmond, an Enigma-type being. As Leo and Rein made their way back, they were intercepted by King Henry's men. The soldiers tried to persuade Leo to return to the city, but their attention was suddenly drawn to Helmond. Mistaking the creature for a threat, the men attacked.

‎Leo quickly blocked their strikes with his blade, urging them to stop.

‎He explained that Helmond was harmless. After some hesitation, the men agreed—but on one condition: Leo had to return home with them. Accepting the terms, Leo brought both Rein and Helmond back to the city, ensuring the safety of his new companions while honoring the king's command.

‎As they walked, all of them suddenly felt a chilling, sinister aura. Without warning, something attacked the king's men—a chain with an eye metal ball, moving with terrifying precision. The remaining soldiers charged at the unknown assailant, while Leo, Rein, and Helmond tried to flee further.

‎One by one, the men were struck down and killed by the mysterious attacker. In the aftermath, the Great Wizard appeared and revealed the horrifying truth: a powerful, malevolent being had entered the Land of Luminous Flame, intent on consuming the life of everyone in its path to increase its strength.

‎The trio continued their journey, only to realize that the king's men had been killed during the attack. Leo's heart sank as he recognized the mistake of venturing outside the city. Rein admitted that it was the first time she had ever sensed such a dark and terrifying aura. Leo turned to Helmond, asking if he knew anything about the unknown attacker. Helmond shook his head—this was also his first encounter with such a presence.

‎Trapped in the forest, with a terrifying monster hunting them relentlessly, all hope seemed lost. Rein, however, knew a way out—but getting there would require careful planning and the hope that they could survive the unknown terror pursuing them.

‎They followed Rein's plan, running toward the forest's exit, hearts pounding with every step. Suddenly, an unhinged, oppressive aura washed over them, sapping their will to move. The unknown presence revealed itself at last—a man with wild, crazed eyes, holding a metal ball with a single glaring eye embedded in it. The sheer sight of him made the trio freeze in terror.

‎"The Chainbound Lord is here to devour your soul," the tyrant declared, his voice echoing with malice.

‎Leo and Rein could barely move, paralyzed by fear, while Helmond was shoved aside, dismissed as weak and worthless by the Chainbound Lord. The forest seemed to close in around them, their lives hanging by a thread.

‎All hope seemed lost—until the strongest warrior of Lucindor City appeared and struck the tyrant, giving Leo and Rein the chance to escape. Leo watched as Eryndor charged toward the Chainbound Lord, sword in hand, unleashing a relentless barrage of strikes. His blade carved through the tyrant's body again and again, each swing fueled by pure resolve.

‎Eryndor ended his assault with a powerful strike aimed at the tyrant's head. Though gravely weakened, the Chainbound Lord did not fall. Knowing time was running out, Eryndor ordered Leo and Rein to return to the city at once. As they retreated, Eryndor moved to rescue Helmond, who lay nearby. Without hesitation, he lifted him to safety—even though they had only just met.

‎The Chainbound Lord hesitated and chose not to pursue them, realizing he was not yet ready to attack the city with Eryndor standing in his way. Leo and Rein watched as Eryndor approached, Helmond carried on his back. The trio thanked him for arriving just in time—without his intervention, they would have been reduced to ashes.

‎Eryndor sternly scolded Leo for leaving the city and endangering not only himself but also those who cared for him. Filled with regret, Leo promised never to do it again and vowed to follow the king's orders, staying in the city to train until he was ready to fight.

‎As they returned, Eryndor reflected on the encounter, realizing he had faced an enemy capable of enduring his full strength. He knew they would cross blades again someday. Rein then asked if they could ever defeat the tyrant. Eryndor replied coldly, his expression filled with anger, "Not even a thousand fighters could kill that bastard."

‎At dawn, King Henry waited at the city gate for Leo's return. His expression was filled with anger, and he was prepared to punish Leo for endangering his men. Leo bowed his head and sincerely apologized for his mistake. After a moment of silence, the king ordered his guards to escort Leo, Rein, and Helmond to the castle.

‎Noticing Helmond, King Henry asked what race he belonged to. Helmond replied that he did not know—he had no memory of his origins and remembered only his name.

‎Eryndor then requested a meeting with the kingdom's highest-ranking officials to discuss the looming danger that had entered their land. King Henry agreed at once, recognizing the severity of the threat they now faced.

‎Rein reunited with her grandfather, greeting him warmly before engaging in a quiet conversation. Meanwhile, Helmond spoke with Leo as he showed him around the castle, marveling at its vast halls and towering walls.

‎During the council meeting, Eryndor bluntly declared, "A tyrant is coming to kill us all—and if we don't prepare our people, it will tear this land apart." Some of the higher-ranking officials laughed, taking his warning lightly. Enraged, Eryndor threatened to deal with them himself if they continued to mock the danger.

‎King Henry quickly silenced him for his rudeness but acknowledged that Eryndor's warning was valid. At that moment, the Great Wizard stepped forward and spoke with grave certainty. "Eryndor is right. The Tyrant could destroy this land at any moment if no one stops him."

‎The room fell silent. Fear spread among the officials as the weight of his words sank in. Without further argument, they ordered every capable fighter to be summoned and trained relentlessly, preparing for the unknown threat that loomed over the Land of Luminous Flame.

‎Leo asked Helmond if he could help train him every day, hoping to unlock the power hidden within him. Helmond did not hesitate and agreed at once. From that day on, the two formed a bond like brothers.

‎Rein then asked Leo if she could finally return home. Leo nodded and replied, "Yes—and be careful." She thanked him for everything they had been through together. Before leaving, Leo asked if they could see each other again someday. Rein answered with a playful hand gesture and a smile.

‎As she left, Leo felt grateful for having met Rein and Helmond. His thoughts also drifted to the elf he had met earlier—Sol. He seemed kind… but there was still something about him that felt suspicious.
