One day a hare was very proud because he could run very fast.
He always laughed at the tortoise because the tortoise walked very slowly.
The tortoise felt sad and said,
"Let's have a race."
The hare laughed and said,
"Okay! I will win very easily."
The race started.
The hare ran very fast and went far ahead. Then he thought,
"The tortoise is very slow. I can take a rest."
So the hare slept under a tree.
The tortoise did not stop. He kept walking slowly but continuously.
After some time, the hare woke up and ran to the finish line.
But it was too late.
The tortoise had already reached the finish line and won the race.
