Slowly Luciel's eyelids started to lift open and his vision started to return. His head felt heavy and his body was slightly sore. As he lifted himself off the ground, he touched his head to see if he had gotten any injuries.
"Why does my head hurt so much?"
He said as he bent down to pick his glasses although it had only one lens left. When he put it on he felt his vision go blurry and then proceeded to remove the glasses and then he discovered that his vision only went blurry when he put on the glasses.
"What,but how?" Luciel wondered then he started remembering what happened before he collapsed and the only thing that came to his head was the mysterious grimoire.
"The book! Where is the freaking book?"
He looked everywhere but he couldn't find it and there was no way it could go missing in such a small apartment.
Then he suddenly started to remember the book getting lifted up in the air then before losing consciousness he heard some words.
"It sounded like a system message of some sort."
As soon as he said those words a screen appeared in front of his eyes which startled him a little.

Luciel noticed that on the status screen there were more titles on the top but without even doing anything and just reading the tabs in his head. The screen automatically switched.

After checking all the system had for him to see he thought of closing it and it closed, he just needed to think about it and it would open again.
The only logical explanation to what happened was that his parents left a grimoire for him to use. These books could often be bought at high prices for the rare ones and the common ones still cost a fortune.
Thinking about it the only grimoire that could disappear and still be with the user were the legendary apocalypse ranked grimoires. Thinking about that he went back to the screen and checked what rank his grimoire was.
" Holy s*it." Sweat started pouring down his face as he saw apocalypse ranked on the screen and he started wondering how his parents got an apocalypse ranked grimoire.
