Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – Rebirth of a Dragon

Battle of the dawn

The battle of the dawn had come.

It was the battle that everyone believed would decide the fate of the world. Either the living would survive, or darkness would swallow everything.

Snow fell heavily across the battlefield outside Winterfell. The wind howled like a wounded beast and the cold cut through armor and flesh alike.

Jon Snow stood in the middle of the battlefield, breathing heavily as he faced the greatest enemy he had ever seen.

The Night King.

The king of the dead stood before him, silent and terrifying. His cold blue eyes glowed in the darkness, empty of mercy or emotion.

Around them the battle raged.

The dead slaughtered men, women, and even children who had been trapped in the chaos. Screams echoed through the night as soldiers tried desperately to hold the line against the endless army of wights.

Jon felt pain shoot through his leg.

The wound was deep.

During the fight with the Night King moments earlier, Jon had been struck in his leg, and now every step felt like fire burning through his bones.

Still he refused to fall.

Jon forced himself to stay standing.

If he fell now, everything would end.

The Night King slowly approached him again.

Jon raised his sword, but his strength was fading.

As the fight continued Jon began to notice something terrible happening around him.

The white walkers were winning.

Everywhere he looked, the dead were pushing forward. The living were falling back step by step.

Men screamed as they were dragged down into the snow.

Women cried as the wights tore through the defenders.

Children who had been hiding inside the castle were being slaughtered by the undead that had climbed over the walls.

Jon's heart filled with despair.

We are losing.

For a moment his mind drifted away from the battlefield.

He remembered Daenerys Targaryen.

Her silver hair.

Her confident smile.

The way she laughed when they spoke about the future.

He remembered the warmth in her eyes.

Jon remembered the promises they had made to each other.

And suddenly pain filled his chest, stronger than the wound in his leg.

If only the war of the five kings had never happened.

If only Daenerys did not Attack

The kings landing

If only Cersei had kept her promise.

So many mistakes.

So many things that had led them to this moment.

If only Daenerys had listened we should have more dragons.

If only she had kept her promise to protect the innocent.

If only Jon had gathered the armies of Westeros sooner.

If only his father no his uncle had revealed his parentage .

If only…

Jon clenched his teeth.

None of it mattered anymore.

The dead were winning.

The Night King raised his sword.

Jon barely managed to block the strike.

The force of the impact pushed him backward and he nearly fell.

His injured leg trembled beneath him.

Jon tried to counterattack but the Night King moved faster.

The icy blade flashed.

Pain exploded through Jon's chest.

The sword had pierced his armor and driven deep into his body.

Jon gasped as the cold steel entered his chest.

His strength vanished instantly.

The world around him began to fade.

Jon collapsed onto the frozen ground.

The sky above him was dark and filled with falling snow.

He could hear the battle continuing around him, but the sounds were becoming distant.

His breathing grew weaker.

As he lay there dying, memories flooded his mind.

Arya.

Bran.

Sansa.

Their faces appeared in his thoughts one after another.

His family.

Then he thought of Daenerys.

The woman he loved.

Dany…

He remembered her smile.

Her laughter.

Her warmth.

Tears slowly formed in Jon's eyes.

I failed you all.

His vision slowly darkened.

The last thing Jon Snow saw was the pale face of the Night King standing above him.

Then everything disappeared.

Darkness surrounded him.

For a long time there was nothing.

No sound.

No pain.

No feeling.

Jon wondered if this was death.

If this was what waited for everyone after the end.

Then suddenly he heard something.

Voices.

At first they were faint and distant, as if coming from very far away.

Gradually they became clearer.

"I can see the head, my lady."

A woman's voice.

Jon felt confused.

My lady?

Another voice spoke.

A younger woman.

"Push, my princess. Just a little more."

Jon tried to move, but his body felt strange.

Weak.

Very small.

Then suddenly he heard a cry.

A baby crying.

The sound startled him.

Whose child is that is it me?

More voices filled the room.

"It is a boy, my lady," one woman said happily.

Jon felt himself being lifted into the air.

Warm hands wrapped him in cloth.

He could feel someone holding him gently.

"Give him to me," a soft voice said.

Jon tried to open his eyes.

Bright light filled his vision.

Everything was blurry at first.

Shapes slowly began to form.

He saw several women standing around him.

One of them had brown hair and kind eyes.

She was holding him carefully and smiling down at him.

Jon felt confused.

Why is she looking at me like that?

Then another voice spoke nearby.

"Is the child healthy?"

Jon turned his head slightly.

A man stepped closer.

Jon immediately noticed his appearance.

The man had silver hair.

His eyes were violet.

The features of Valyria.

Jon's heart began to race.

Another man spoke beside him.

"He looks strong enough."

The first man looked down at Jon thoughtfully.

"Well then," he said calmly, "what shall his name be?"

The woman holding Jon smiled gently.

"my husbend can name him iam not vell versed in Targaryen names," she said.

Jon's mind froze.

Targaryen?

Another voice said "Aemon for my uncle memory my father suggested it "

"Yes," the woman said.

"Aemon Targaryen."

Jon felt shock spread through his mind.

Targaryen.

The name echoed inside his head.

He knew that name.

The blood of the dragon.

The ancient royal house of Westeros.

Jon tried to speak, but only a weak cry escaped his mouth.

His body felt small.

Too small.

He suddenly realized something terrifying.

He wasn't in his adult body anymore.

He was inside the body of a newborn child.

The silver-haired man looked at him with curiosity.

"He does have the look of a dragon," he said.

Another man laughed quietly.

"That is not important, brother. He is healthy. That is enough."

Jon's thoughts spun wildly.

Brother?

Dragon blood?

Nothing made sense.

The woman gently rocked him in her arms.

"Aemon Targaryen," she whispered again.

"Yes… that will be his name."

Jon stared upward helplessly.

Slowly the truth began to settle in his mind.

He remembered dying.

He remembered the Night King's sword piercing his chest.

And now…

He had been born again i didn't know when is it but iam.

Reborn.

As a Targaryen.

As Aemon.

Jon—no, Aemon—closed his eyes slowly.

His previous life faded like a distant dream.

But one thought remained clear in his mind.

If I truly have been given another life…

Then this time…
