Chapter 94 - 94

Chapter 94 Luffy's attempt to trick Enel backfires, resulting in him being struck by lightning.Even Enel himself started to doubt himself, his eyes darting around: Could what he said be true?

After all, back in Birka, he was indeed ostracized and bullied because he didn't have wings and looked like a blue-sea person.

You know, the blue-sea people who could get to the sky islands were basically desperate pirates, always coming to burn, kill, and plunder. It's normal for the Birka people to hate him because of them.

Little did they know, all of this was just Luffy's wild guess. Following the usual formula, villains always have a tragic childhood before they turn evil.

Someone like Enel was most likely implicated by the sky islanders who hated blue-sea people when he was young, which is why he blew up his hometown Birka after obtaining the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

Luffy's move was purely opportunistic; he just stumbled upon the perfect answer. Judging from Enel's conflicted expression, he was probably 80-90% right.

Luffy secretly gloated: Holy crap, he actually guessed right?! I'm a genius!

Enel's mind was a complete mess.

He roared hysterically at Luffy, "I will never admit you're my brother! Never!"

With that, he transformed into a bolt of lightning and vanished from the spot in an instant.

Everyone stared blankly at Enel's sudden escape, thinking, "Isn't this the legendary 'protesting too much'?"

"If you don't believe me, why are you running away? We're in the middle of a battle! Shouldn't you, as the boss, be unleashing your ultimate attack?"

Luffy, seeing he'd fooled him enough, waved to Shura, who was still dazed in mid-air, "What are you daydreaming about! Hurry up and lead the way to the Golden Bell! Can't you see my Shandian brothers are getting impatient?"

The Shandian warriors behind him, hearing this, were moved to tears. Lighting the lamps of Shandora was a dream their ancestors had cherished for centuries.

Unexpectedly, Enel, who defeated the former god, was also a descendant of his benefactor, Noland!

This is fate! This is destiny's arrangement!

At this moment, Waver had completely forgotten Luffy's earlier statement about being "commissioned by a descendant of Noland."

Shura stood awkwardly in mid-air, unsure whether to stay or leave.

Luffy, seeing Shura still hesitating, began to crackle with electricity, his appearance a perfect replica of Enel's.

Shura shuddered, only then remembering that this man was a powerhouse capable of going toe-to-toe with Enel.

Whether this man was telling the truth or not, he definitely couldn't win!

Shura immediately put on a fawning smile, his change of expression incredibly fast: "Alright, brother, this way please. The Golden Bell is enshrined at the very top of the giant vine."

Meanwhile, Enel teleported back to the Shrine of the Gods.

His brain was still in a state of utter confusion.

Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?

How did I suddenly get a brother?

Why are his abilities so similar to mine? Could everything he said be true?

Suddenly, a flash of insight struck Enel, as if he had grasped something crucial.

"Wait a minute! Holy crap! That guy looks several years younger than me! How could he be my brother?!"

Enel sprang up from his divine throne, veins bulging on his forehead, feeling utterly insulted.

"You dare to treat a god like a monkey?!"

With a whoosh, Enel transformed into a raging bolt of lightning once more, charging down into the lower realms with murderous intent.

The sky was gradually darkening, the last rays of dusk bathing the forest in the golden light.

To give this reunion across four hundred years a perfect sense of ceremony, Waver decided to wait until dawn the next day to light Shandora's lanterns.

The group was currently busy preparing for a picnic and a grand bonfire party in the forest.

The cloud wolves in the forest, oblivious to their impending dominance, ventured out to assert their territorial claims, only to be soundly beaten by the Shandian warriors and ultimately forced to offer up delicious fruit wine.

As a cyborg with exceptional regenerative abilities, Sanji's injuries from the morning were now almost completely healed.

He and Zoro were showing off their skills in the Cloud River, catching over a dozen enormous sky sharks, preparing a grilled fish feast for everyone.

"I never imagined there were such beautiful and brave warriors as Miss Rachi in the heavens! My heart has been completely captured!"

Sanji, holding a large piece of Sky Shark meat, knelt on one knee before the Shandian warrior Rachi, looking like a lovesick fool.

Kamachiri, wearing round glasses, was furious that this blond lecher was openly flirting with his goddess. He grabbed a large bucket of fruit wine, ready to fight Sanji.

Just as everyone was immersed in the joyful and peaceful atmosphere,

the sky suddenly changed dramatically, and a terrifying bolt of lightning was rapidly gathering.

"Divine Judgment!"

With a deafening roar, a thick pillar of lightning, like divine punishment, struck straight down towards everyone's heads.

Luffy frowned slightly. It seemed that the idiot had realized what was happening?

He slammed his hand on the ground.

The iron sand contained in the soil was instantly manipulated by Luffy's magnetic force, forming a giant lightning rod above everyone's heads in the blink of an eye.

A crackling sound of electricity filled the air as the terrifying divine punishment was channeled directly into the earth by the black iron sand, vanishing without a trace.

Only then did the group recover from their shock, scrambling to their feet.

They looked up at the sky and saw Enel glaring at Luffy with a ferocious expression: "You dared to trick me! How could you be my brother! You're clearly younger than me!"

Luffy: "..."

So that's how you finally realized it!!

Just as Luffy was figuring out how to continue fooling this blockhead,

Enel, already enraged, refused to listen to any explanations. He brandished his golden staff, transforming into a blur as he charged straight at Luffy's face.

Zoro and the others were about to rush in to help, but Luffy stopped them with a gesture.

At their current level, facing a monster who had mastered the Rumble-Rumble Fruit to an Admiral-level standard, they had absolutely no chance of winning. Going in would just be suicide, offering no training whatsoever.

"Gold is actually quite soft."

Luffy shrugged, neither dodging nor avoiding, and directly punched Enel.

With a muffled thud, the sturdy golden staff in Enel's hand was bent by Luffy's punch.

"Idiot! Gold conducts electricity!"

A sly smile of triumph crept across Enel's lips. "One Hundred Million Volts - Discharge!"

A terrifying current erupted instantly along the golden staff, engulfing Luffy in dazzling lightning.

"Luffy!!"

Zoro and the others were shocked, their hearts pounding in their chests.

The Shandian warriors frantically grabbed their weapons, wanting to rush to his aid.

Only Usopp, with the best eyesight, noticed something was wrong: "Hey? Wait a minute, look closely, isn't Luffy... yawning?"

"Are you kidding me! That's hundreds of millions of volts of lightning!"

Sanji immediately retorted, but still squinted to look closely.

And what he saw left him dumbfounded.

Luffy, enveloped in lightning, was yawning with his mouth wide open, clutching Enel's staff in his hand, completely unaffected by the electric current coursing through his body.

If it weren't for the ground beneath their feet being charred and ablaze by the electricity, everyone would have suspected the two were putting on a show.

"Impossible! How can you be completely unharmed?!"

Enel was questioning his existence once again. Was this guy really an incarnation of lightning?

Luffy looked at Enel with a look of pity, as if he were an idiot.

Enel, possessing top-tier attack, speed, and defense among Logia-type Devil Fruit users, unfortunately ran into Luffy, a Mythical Zoan-type user of the Gum-Gum Fruit.

That's fate; that's what you call elemental advantage.

Not only was he immune to all lightning damage, but even his Logia-type elemental transformation was ineffective against Luffy. It was like bad luck had opened the door for bad luck—utterly unlucky.

But if this happened on the Grand Line, with Enel's monstrous Observation Haki and Mind Map, even without Armament Haki, he could easily defeat any Yonko commander or lower.

Unfortunately, he encountered Luffy, his natural counter.
