Arjun never believed in love until the day he met Maya.
It was a quiet evening on the college campus. Maya was sitting alone under a tree, reading a book while the soft wind played with her hair.
Arjun noticed her from a distance. There was something calm and beautiful about her that made him stop and look again.
"Hi… can I sit here?" Arjun asked nervously.
Maya looked up and smiled softly.
"Of course."
That simple moment became the beginning of something neither of them expected. They started talking every day. Slowly, friendship turned into something deeper.
One evening, Arjun said quietly,
"I don't know when it happened, but… I think I've fallen in love with you."..
Maya's eyes filled with emotion.
"I was waiting for you to say that."
From that day, their hearts were connected by a silent promise of love.

Life was beautiful for Arjun and Maya. They spent every moment together, sharing dreams and laughter.
But one day Maya got news that she had to move to another city with her family.
"I don't want to leave you," Maya whispered with tears in her eyes.
Arjun held her hand tightly.
"Distance cannot break true love. I promise… I will always wait for you."

Every evening he visited the same tree where they first met.
One day, someone called his name softly.
"Arjun…"
He turned around. It was Maya.
