Chapter 1 - Unnamed

Title: The History Topper

In a small town, there lived a boy named Rohan. He studied in Class 10 in a government school. Most students in his class loved mathematics and science, but Rohan had a different interest—history.

Rohan loved reading about kings, freedom fighters, and ancient civilizations. He often read books about great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, and Bhagat Singh. Their stories inspired him a lot.

However, many of his classmates laughed at him.

"Why do you study history so much?" they asked. "It is just about old things."

Rohan smiled and replied, "History teaches us how the world became what it is today."

His history teacher, Mrs. Verma, noticed his deep interest. She often gave him extra questions and encouraged him to read more about important events like the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and the Non-Cooperation Movement.

Rohan developed a special way of studying history. Instead of memorizing dates only, he tried to understand the story behind every event. He imagined how people lived in those times, what problems they faced, and how leaders solved them.

When the Class 10 board exams came closer, most students started to panic about history because they had not prepared well. But Rohan was confident.

During the exam, the history question paper was difficult. Some students were worried. But when Rohan saw the questions, he smiled because he had already studied those topics deeply.

He wrote his answers clearly. He explained the causes, effects, and importance of each event. He even added small details that he had learned from extra reading.

After a few weeks, the results were announced. The principal stood on the school stage and said:

"This year, the highest marks in history are scored by… Rohan!"

The whole class clapped loudly. Even the students who once laughed at him now admired him.

Mrs. Verma proudly said,

"Rohan did not just memorize history—he understood it. That is why he became the history topper."

Rohan realized something important that day:

Every subject can become interesting if you study it with curiosity and passion.

From that day on, many students started loving history because of Rohan's inspiration.

Moral: Success comes when you study with interest, curiosity, and dedication.
