At 6:30 am sharp I was already on my way to the training center I jogged there because the training center wasn't far from my house so after 15 mins of jogging I finally got there on getting there I met the team starting sticker Steven he played left wing in the last match but the coach has made it clear to me that I would be playing left wing for the team and would be a rotating player and 90 mins on the pitch is not guaranteed for me but I didn't take it to heart I knew this would change after a few matches me and Steve trained together till 7:45 when the other players and the coaches arrived during training I saw that Steven was actually a very good finisher on a level of his own he was just having a bad game in the last match and he apologised to me for the chances he wasted he was the current top scorer of the fa cup with 6 goals we were group to 2 groups for the reserves Vs starting team training match I was part of the reserves team and started on the LW the match went well for me but no for the team we lost 8-6 I scored 3 goals and gave 2 assists the match was one of a kind then he called the match day squad vs Sunderland as today was the last training session before facing Sunderland in the next 2 days at the stadium of light the starting xi was

I was happy to be in the squad for match day I was feeling like I was forgetting something then I remembered I haven't told be best bro about my Joining the Ipswich townU21 I chatted him up on WhatsApp but Lewis reminded me that the coach was still talking so I quickly hid my phone and listened to what the coach was saying we agreed to meet up by 6:00 am the next day as the journey from Suffolk to seaham is a 5 hour drive and very long journey after a very long day at the training center Steven invited me to go watch the first team match Vs Leicester city at the home stadium ๐๏ธ we went to watch the match even though we lost 3-1 the match was alaan unforgettable experience as it was my first time ever watching a match from the stands I got home late chatted my best friend up gisted him on how my past 2 days has been skipped dinner woke up early to eat breakfast when eating breakfast a thought hit me I haven't signed the contract yet the reason why I hadn't signed a contract yet was because of the fact that I didn't have an agent at that time but my Uncle volunteered to be my agent so the contract would be discussed after the Sunderland match I got to the training center by 6:06 after the prep talk from the coach and stuffs we set off to seaham the journey was a very thrilling one the view and road trips is one of my very own hobby after the 5 hour trip to seaham we finally go to the hotel we'll be staying in most people went to eat then slept off but me Lewis, Bentley,carr, valentine, idowu and feisha still went on to train in the training facility nearby we trained relentlessly as we all wanted promotion to first team after ABT 4 hours we went to our various rooms to sleep then it was match day we had the chance to play in the stadium of light as the Sunderland first team didn't t have any pending match they lineup was called and everything went well then it was kick off the Sunderland u21 team was a relatively weak team so we dominated but ryan Carr made a mistake that cost us a counter attack Jake the Sunderland striker quickly led the counter into out box only to be met by a brutal tackle from Henry Curtis the Sunderland players were aggrieved but the ref gave Curtis a yellow card๐ก and pointed to the spot it was a pen Jake converted the penalty well and gave them the lead I looked at our coach and he took a deep breath his job has been on the line for quite some time now and anything apart from a win today would cost him his Job so he was clearly panicking
We dominated the remainder of the first half but Sunderland kept their defense compact soon the first half ended and we met in the locker room suabo was feeling a discomfort and Fletcher had been poor in the first half so Valentine and me were both called up to replace them in the second half I felt a rush of joy in my head as this was the moment I was waiting for the second half soon started we bombarded the Sunderland defence with series of attack leaving them at our mercy ruthless and desolute skills from valentine left both me and the opposition shocked when the ball got to me I immediately started a tiki taka with idowu Steven and Valentine the Sunderland Cb intercepted the ball but I was faster and I immediately opened a very ruthless shot towards goal but the keeper kept it and Steven was there for the rebound the rush of Joy was real goal even though we had equalised a draw wasn't want we came for we came to win the game was quickly restarted a mistaken pass by the Sunderland keeper went to me and I directly chipped the ball over him I scored I was going frenzy I ran to the flag and did the mbappe celebration all my teams jumped on me this goal had given us the lead
