The Sun and Moon Federation, originally named the Sun and Moon Continent, was formed after Lingbing Douluo ascended to the God Realm and unified the Douluo Continent, thus creating the current Sun and Moon Federation.
Mingdu is the central city of the Sun Moon Federation. Ten thousand years ago, Mingdu was already leading the world with its superb soul guide technology. After ten thousand years of development, Mingdu's status has become even more important, and it is on par with Shrek City and Heaven Dou City, which have existed for tens of thousands of years.
With the changing times, the profession of mecha pilot emerged, and the original position of the Soul Master was gradually replaced, slowly disappearing into the long river of history.
Mingdu is much more lively than usual today. Almost everyone stops what they are doing because today is another day of Martial Soul Awakening, which represents the birth of a new era in Douluo Continent.
The awakening of a martial spirit is of paramount importance to every child, or rather, to every family. Each awakening is no less thrilling than a suspenseful guessing game.
On the entire Douluo Star, everyone has something called a Martial Soul. It can be a farming tool, an animal, or even a part of one's own body.
But all of this will be awakened in people when they are six years old through an ancient ritual, so this day is called Awakening Day.
The Sun and Moon Federation introduced a policy a long time ago to provide free martial soul awakening for its citizens, and Mingdu, as one of the main gathering places for soul masters, naturally followed suit.
"Please don't let it be a beast spirit, please don't let it be a beast spirit."
A five- or six-year-old boy was praying with his eyes closed, his hands clasped together and his mouth constantly muttering something.
This boy is Wu Luo, who has been living and working in mainland China for six years.
Over the course of six years, Wu Luo was different from the other children. Wu Luo always felt that the other children were too childish and made him feel out of place.
So Wu Luo didn't socialize or play with other children. Instead, he was incredibly sensible, which greatly troubled Wu Luo's master, Lin Bai. How could Wu Luo, at such a young age, act like an adult?
"Perhaps they matured earlier than others."
That's good, it saves Lin Bai a lot of trouble.
Over the course of six years, Wu Luo had almost completely forgotten the few plot points he already had in his head, leaving only a general outline that he had jotted down in his notebook.
"The Abyss Invades, Tang San, a Grand Plan for Ten Thousand Years."
Wu Luo also learned the current timeline: the era of the Legend of the Dragon King. He had to subtly pry this information out of Lin Bai, and every time he thought of that scene, Wu Luo felt helpless.
"Master, Master, do you know who is the strongest in the world right now?" Four-year-old Wu Luo tilted his head and looked at Lin Bai with an innocent expression.
Lin Bai was stunned for a moment, then squatted down and patted Wu Luo's little head, saying, "Of course it's me, otherwise, would it still be Shrek's Sky-Supporting Douluo?"
Wu Luo secretly despised his cheap master. Although Wu Luo knew that Lin Bai was very strong, at least a Super Douluo, there should still be some gap between him and a Limit Douluo like Qingtian Douluo, right?
But how could such a small body hide such a big secret? Lin Bai saw the disdain on Wu Luo's face, which made him very unhappy. He took out the pen he always carried with him, pulled down Wu Luo's pants, and after a few minutes of rough handling, a pig's head appeared on Wu Luo's little butt.
"Well, this is what happens when you look down on your master." Lin Bai's handsome face showed a gratified smile, seemingly very satisfied with his work.
"Damn it!"
While Wu Luo was still fretting about the pig's head on his butt, Lin Bai's voice echoed in his mind.
"Luo'er, hurry up and come to the hall, it's time to help you awaken your martial soul."
Lin Bai is an important member of the Sun and Moon Federation. In Wu Luo's understanding, Lin Bai has a very special feeling for the Federation, so Lin Bai taught Wu Luo from a young age to be loyal to his country.
Through Lin Bai's introduction, Wu Luo learned that although the Federation possessed great strength, it also had three very troublesome organizations.
Shrek Academy and the Spirit Pagoda. The Spirit Pagoda is alright, as the Federation has many connections with it. But Shrek Academy is different. Not only does Shrek Academy possess the highest level of combat power in the Douluo Continent, but it also acts as it pleases.
One hundred years ago, the current master of the Sea God Pavilion, also known as the Sky-Supporting Douluo, forcefully snatched away the proud daughter of heaven that the Federation had painstakingly nurtured. This incident was tantamount to a slap in the face to the Federation.
However, Shrek Academy is very powerful, and unless it is an extremely urgent situation, the Federation does not want to engage in armed conflict with them.
The last one is the Holy Spirit Cult. The evil soul master organization from ten thousand years ago was not completely wiped out but secretly went into hiding. This is a group of people who have lost their humanity. Serious evil soul master attacks have occurred in various places. Some are only injured, while others have their entire villages slaughtered. Even Mingdu was not spared.
The evil spirit masters were so rampant that the Federation specially organized law enforcement agencies to crack down on the Holy Spirit Cult.
Lin Bai is one of the highest law enforcement officers appointed by the Federation, which shows that Lin Bai holds a very high position in the Federation.
Upon arriving at the central hall, one finds a massive magic circle at the center, surrounded by several beads.
At the very front stood a statue of an old man seated on a nine-colored lotus throne, surrounded by nine lions breathing flames. Wu Luo felt he had seen it somewhere before, but couldn't quite place it.
Lin Bai knelt on the prayer mat, looking just like a devout believer.
Lin Bai suddenly stood up, but didn't turn around. "You're here?"
"Master!" Wu Luo bowed to Lin Bai.
"Yes, look, this is where you will awaken your martial spirit. Your children will also come to this place when they reach your age." Lin Bai helped Wu Luo up, pulled him to the side of the magic circle, and pointed to the center.
"This is the magic circle for awakening your martial soul. It is the key to whether you can become a soul master in the future. Everyone has a martial soul. If soul power appears when you awaken your martial soul, you can definitely become a soul master. Otherwise, you cannot."
Lin Bai led Wu Luo to the center of the magic circle, but his mouth didn't stop moving.
"There are two ways to classify martial souls. One is that they can be of the same quality but with multiple types. To put it simply, martial souls of the same quality can be beast martial souls, weapon martial souls, and the very rare body martial souls."
"The second type is the type that is different from the quality of the martial soul. For example, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon martial soul that appeared 20,000 years ago will have different levels of innate soul power."
"Therefore, whether it is the first or the second situation, high-quality martial soul masters will often have high innate soul power, and innate soul power determines the height a soul master can reach in the future."
