"Huh?" Alex's eyes widened when he saw the panel in front of him.

"Mornach Of Motion?" He reached out in his confusion, and tried to touch the hovering status panel in front of him when suddenly.

"Kid!" A voice snapped him out of his thoughts.

He turned, and saw a man with a dust stained white shirt running straight at him.

"You okay?" The man asked in a way that made him sound surprised rather than concerned.

"Um..." Alex looked down at his cloth, practically all of his lower body was covered in blood, and he was shirtless. "I guess?"

"Thank heavens." The man sighed in relief, and held his two legs trying to catch his breath. "The casualties are less than I thought."

"Casualties?" Alex raised a brow. "What do you mean?"

"Richard!!!"

Alex and the man froze when a loud cry suddenly rang out behind them, and they immediately turned around.

Their gaze landed on a woman in her thirties sitting on the ground, her body trembled as she tightly hugged what looked like the limb of a small child against her chest.

"Richard!!! NO!!! Richard!!!" Tears streamed down her eyes like a powerful waterfall as she cried bitterly.

A wide puddle of blood had spread beneath her, staining the ground dark red, while pieces of internal organs were scattered all around her, and her clothes were completely drenched in blood.

Alex's eyes trembled as he watched her.

"I-Is that... A human hand?"

"That's right, if anything that woman is lucky that something remained of her child." Instinctively, the man's teeth tightened against each other, and his fingers curled into a fist.

"Those damn gods..."

"Huh? Gods?"

"Yeah... Those bastards who reigns and thrives beyond the heavens. The reincarnation of the divine, the Olympian gods. Naturally, they have no reason to come down to the mortal realm. But as of late, they've been sending their accursed messenger, hermes to deliver decrees. And anything that bastard comes."

The man's sights shifted to the open streets, and Alex turned to look.

What he saw made his blood run cold.

Intestines, kidneys and other internal organs were scattered across the ground. The ground was covered in blood, forming into a miniature red river.

Alex held his stomach tight and threw up instantly. It was a ghastly side to see.

All the man could do was watch as Alex practically emptied his stomach.

This was a sight no one could see with a straight face, no matter how long they've witnessed it.

"That's why I am a bit surprised to see you're still alive. You must have incredible luck by your side."

"Help! Someone help me!" A voice cried out from afar, and without second guessing it, the man sprang into action.

Alex wiped his mouth as he felt a bit better, watching the man sprinting off into action like a good Samaritan.

"Hermes huh? Wait..."

His eyes went wide immediately.

That name was familiar, it was too familiar.

"You've got to be kidding me." He rubbed his temples as it finally came to him.

Years before his parents passed away, there was a particular game that was sold out immediately, and fortunately he managed to get his hands on a copy of it with the ultimate power of money.

It was his most favorite game, and this scene? This prologue? He couldn't forget it. It came directly from New Metropolis hottest selling game of the year — I Am The Son Of Zeus.

"So I got transmigrated into my most favorite game?"

It was hard to believe, the concept of transmigration was actually real.

His favorite game — I Am The Son Of Zeus, was a RPD game centered around Arthur Leywin.

Much like most of his siblings, he was the bastard son of the king of New Olympus, Zeus. Zeus was just like another great Olympian deity, a lustful bastards who made sure he got into it with every beautiful woman his eyes ever met.

Arthur's mother couldn't handle the strain of giving birth to a half mortal half demi god, and she died in the process of childbirth.

Arthur was then thrown away as an outcast, but with his guts, talents and friends he made along the way. He slaughtered mythical and ancient beasts, made a harem of beautiful harem and became the strongest god and eventually ascended as the new King Of New Olympus.

"Let's see if I'm right. Status."

"Wow..." He blinked.

"I really did transmigrate?" He stared hard at his status screen, every detail, every description. There was no mistake, it was just as he remembered it.

"Alex Valor? Isn't that might name?" He knew the back stories and names of some of the relevant characters, but this body he possessed?

He had no clue who he was.

There was not a single detail about him in the game, which meant one thing.

In simple terms, he did not exist during the main storyline.

He was an extra, characters whose existence mattered little to the story or plot of the game. In fact, they were worse than NPCs.

"Come to think of it, that man did say something about being surprised that I survived. That means this body... This character, his death was the start of it all?"

He glanced around at where he stood stiff, and the pool of blood caught his attention, that was without a doubt his blood.

"So I got speed blitzed in two worlds?"

He glanced back at his status window, and his sights landed on his unique skill.

"NullBlood? Well I get that I'm a human without any ties to the Olympian gods, but NullBlood?"

NullBlood was a unique skill that allowed him to steal bloodlines. Unlike the rest of Mount Olympus, or even the human race, Alex wasn't tied to any bloodline.

He was an anomaly.

And that allowed him to comprehend and master the abilities and skills of any bloodline he chooses to, as long as it was something he was able to comprehend.

"But being able to comprehend it... There must be a certain condition."

From his knowledge one thing was certain, this ability he gained, it was given to him at the moment of transmigration by whatever higher being that sent him here.

"Mornach Of Motion? That man also mentioned something about the gods sending their messenger."

In Greek mythology, the messenger of the gods, who was also referred to as the fastest amongst the gods, was Hermes.

The Greek god of speed.

Alex slumped to the ground and sighed.

It was a lot to take in.

"I thought dealing with poverty and survival was the hardest shit I'd ever face in my life, but this?"

From what he remembered, this world was very dangerous, and not just because one of the most powerful beings in all the universe lived above them, reading to bring an end to them whenever they felt bored.

But because even in the mortal realm, there were beasts cast and locked away by these gods for their own safety.

One of these rumored beasts was Hydra, a large, multi headed sea serpent that was said to have been defeated by Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, and one of the three great gods.

It was rumored that after defeating Hydra, Poseidon locked it away in deep waters somewhere within the mortal realm.

That made deep sea exploration extremely dangerous to divers and the rest of humanity.

"Damn... I'm getting nightmares thinking about that, I think I'll just focus on current events for now."

Alex rose to his feet, then gently patted the dust off what remained of his clothes. He looked over his shoulders and saw the petrified looks on the faces of fathers, mothers and siblings that couldn't do anything but watch their loved ones being used as paint along the road.

Their screams tore through the air, and ambulances arrived to give immediate attention to those who were still alive.

"This is what happens when gods and humans crosses path."

Alex whispered, then walked away, following the faint memories of what the previous Alex Valor remembered.

Soon enough, Alex arrived at a small apartment, barely comparable to a bungalow.

His apartment was small, with just one bedroom, but it felt lived-in.

The walls were a pale gray, scuffed in places, and a worn-out couch leaned against the wall in the living room, facing a small TV on a rickety stand.

His kitchen was tiny, with a cracked countertop and a few dirty dishes in the sink.

The bedroom had a simple bed, a crooked lamp on the nightstand, and a half-open closet spilling clothes onto the floor.

A single window let in the city noise and a little light, casting long shadows across the threadbare carpet.

It wasn't much, but in the very least, it was his.

It was all he could afford after losing both his parents and brother. Much like most people, his family fell victim to the careless actions of Hermes each time he came to deliver decrees.

They got speed blitz just like him, and ever since Alex despised them, he loathed and cursed at the gods he once so happily worshipped.

And now? Well, he's dead.

After washing himself up and slipping into some clean clothes, Alex slumped into his bed with a loud thud.

The wooden frame creaked on impact, but it was still strong enough to hold his weight.

"What a day..."

It still took a while for him to process all that had happened, but before he finally did, a voice spoke into his head.

[Ding! Acceptance letter has been received!]

[You have been accepted into the New Olympus Academy.]

[Registering User...]

[User, Alex Valor, has been successfully registered into the Akashic Records.]

"Huh." He sat up.

"I've been registered into the Akashic Records?" The Akashic Records was a collation of data regarding all things on Mount Olympus. Data like the kind of mystical and mythical beasts in existence, the gods of Mount Olympus, and so much more.

It served as the world wide web for deities, and only those whose bloodlines possessed cosmic energy were able to access the Akashic Records.

"I got accepted into New Olympus Academy? When did I ever apply?"

He only just arrived in this world, and yet he was already given an acceptance notice for an academy he never applied for?

Then it hit him.

"I see... I don't just have the ability to steal bloodlines and make it my own, I can also steal their blessings!"

It all became clear.

The acceptance letter had been sent only to demigods who carried the bloodline of the Monarch of Motion.

Being accepted into New Olympus Academy was a rare honor, a mark of speed, skill, and a heritage that only a few could claim.

But now… now he had taken it. By stealing the Mornach Of Motion bloodline, he had taken more than skills and abilities, he also stole the privilege that came with it.

"Damn..." He laughed softly.

It sounded like a ludicrous fantasy.

"This system is friggin awesome."
