Suho's eyes slowly began to open.
The sound of gentle waves filled the air as the ocean water brushed lightly against his body. He was lying on the shore, half-wet, with the cold sand beneath him.
For a moment, he simply stared at the sky.
Confusion filled his mind.
He slowly sat up.
The waves touched his feet and then pulled back into the sea. Suho looked down at himself in shock.
All of his wounds were gone.
The bruises, the cuts, the pain that had covered his body the night before—
everything had disappeared.
He touched his arm, then his chest,
checking again and again.
Nothing.
Not even a scar.
"How…?" he whispered.
Suho tried to remember what had happened the previous night.
The cliff.
The ocean.
The cold water pulling him down.
After that…
everything went dark.
He pressed his fingers against his forehead, trying hard to recall something, anything.
But his mind remained empty.
Then something caught his attention.
A bracelet was wrapped around his wrist.
Suho frowned slightly and raised his hand to look at it carefully.
It was unlike anything he had ever seen before.
The bracelet was made of small glowing blue stones that sparkled like precious gems. Each stone shined softly, as if a piece of the ocean itself had been trapped inside it.
For a moment, Suho simply stared at it in silence.
"Where did this come from…?"
He slowly removed the bracelet and held it in his palm, studying it carefully.
The stones reflected the sunlight beautifully.
He tried once more to remember the night.
But no matter how hard he tried…
nothing came back.
After a while, Suho slowly stood up and stepped into the shallow water of the sea.
The waves gently moved around his feet.
He looked out at the endless ocean and spoke quietly.
"I don't know what happened to me last night."
The wind moved softly through his hair.
"But if I've been given another chance at life…"
His eyes slowly hardened with determination.
"…then I won't waste it."
He clenched his fist tightly.
"From now on, I won't think about who is with me or who isn't."
His voice became firm.
"I'll become so strong that I won't need anyone."
Suho slipped the strange bracelet into his pocket.
Then, without looking back at the ocean again, he turned and began walking toward the city.
Deep beneath the ocean…
in the quiet, glowing world of the sea…
a beautiful blue mermaid sat among the coral reefs.
Her long hair floated softly in the water as small fish swam peacefully around her.
But her thoughts were far away.
She was thinking about Suho.
It was the first time she had ever seen a human so closely.
The memory of his face kept appearing in her mind again and again.
His pain.
His loneliness.
His tears falling into the ocean.
The mermaid gently looked down at her hands.
Suddenly, she noticed something.
Her bracelet was gone.
For a moment, a small sadness appeared in her eyes.
That bracelet had always been with her.
But after a few seconds, the sadness slowly faded.
She swam deeper into the ocean floor where countless pearls rested among the sand.
With graceful movements, she gathered several shining pearls into her hands.
Then she closed her eyes.
A soft blue light began to glow from her body.
The pearls in her hands slowly started shining as well.
Using her mysterious powers, she began shaping them together.
Little by little…
a new bracelet formed.
It was even more beautiful than the last one.
The mermaid swam toward a large stone deep in the ocean and gently sat on it.
Then she slowly lay down and closed her eyes.
Her entire body began glowing with a bright blue light.
The light spread across her skin like waves of energy.
For a few seconds, everything around her was filled with shimmering blue radiance.
Then she opened her eyes.
They had turned completely ocean-
blue.
Deep within those glowing eyes…
a clear image appeared.
Suho's face.
The mermaid quietly stared at the vision.
And slowly…
a gentle smile appeared on her lips.
As if somewhere deep in her heart…
she wished to see him again.
