A few days later…
The doctor finally gave the news everyone was waiting for.
"Jay can be discharged."
The whole gang celebrated like children.
Freya clapped loudly.
"Finally!"
Rakki stretched her arms.
"I'm tired of hospitals."
Ella smiled warmly at Jay.
"You're going home."
Jay also looked happy.
She had missed her home.
Her room.
Her parents.
But someone else had already made a decision.
Keifer.
Jay slowly walked out of the hospital with everyone around her.
Keifer stayed close to her the whole time.
Like a shadow.
The car was waiting outside.
Jay looked at it and smiled.
"Finally going home."
Keifer opened the car door for her.
"Careful."
Jay sat inside.
Everyone else got into the other cars.
But after a while…
Jay noticed something strange.
The road didn't look familiar.
She frowned slightly.
"Keifer."
"Hmm?"
"This isn't the way to my house."
Keifer kept driving calmly.
"I know."
Jay blinked.
"What?"
Keifer repeated casually,
"I know."
Jay stared at him.
"Then where are we going?"
Keifer glanced at her for a second.
"My house."
Jay's eyes widened.
"What?!"
Keifer continued driving like nothing happened.
"You're staying with me."
Jay almost sat up straight.
"Excuse me?!"
Keifer looked at her calmly again.
"You're still injured."
Jay protested immediately.
"My parents—"
"I already spoke to them."
Jay froze.
"You did what?"
Keifer nodded.
"They agreed."
Jay stared at him in shock.
"You planned this?"
Keifer shrugged slightly.
"I'm not letting you stay alone."
Jay crossed her arms.
"I can take care of myself."
Keifer suddenly stopped the car at a signal.
Then he looked straight at her.
His expression serious.
"You got stabbed three days ago."
Jay opened her mouth.
But no words came out.
Keifer's voice softened.
"I'm not risking anything again."
Jay looked at him quietly.
Then she sighed.
"You're impossible."
Keifer smiled slightly.
"Maybe."
After some time the car finally stopped.
Jay looked out of the window.
And saw the huge gates.
Keifer's mansion.
The guards opened the gates immediately.
The car drove inside slowly.
Jay looked around the huge place.
Gardens.
Fountains.
The massive house.
She shook her head.
"You kidnapped me."
Keifer laughed softly.
"Technically."
Jay looked at him again.
"And where am I staying?"
Keifer stepped out of the car.
Then helped her out carefully.
"You're staying where I can see you."
Jay narrowed her eyes.
"Meaning?"
Keifer smiled a little.
"My room."
Jay's jaw dropped.
"KEIFER."
He just laughed.
And walked her inside the mansion like it was the most normal thing in the world. 💙
