Chapter 44 - Chapter 41 — The Black-Robed Elder

The moment the black-robed cultivator stepped into the Cloud Mist Internet Café, the lively atmosphere inside the building changed instantly. Conversations that had filled the hall moments earlier slowly faded into silence as dozens of disciples turned their attention toward the mysterious newcomer.

The aura surrounding him was not violent or oppressive.

But it was deep.

So deep that even experienced cultivators could sense the vast difference between themselves and the man standing before them.

His black robes were simple, yet the faint spiritual patterns woven into the fabric revealed that they were crafted from extremely high-quality materials. His long hair flowed down his back, and his calm eyes carried the quiet confidence of someone who had experienced countless battles throughout his life.

Several disciples whispered nervously.

"That aura…"

"He's definitely not an ordinary cultivator."

"Even the elders of our sect might not be stronger than him."

Standing near the ranking board, Chen Yu narrowed his eyes slightly.

"That man is dangerous."

Beside him, Yan Feng from the Crimson Star Sect crossed his arms while studying the newcomer carefully.

"He's at least at the elder level."

Even Long Wei from the Sky Dragon Pavilion remained unusually quiet as he observed the man.

The black-robed cultivator slowly walked deeper into the shop.

His gaze moved calmly from one screen to another as he observed the battles happening inside the training realms.

On one display, a group of cultivators fought desperately against monsters inside the Zombie Catastrophe Realm.

On another, a team battled waves of enemies across the burning battlefield of the Battlefield Realm.

Finally, the man stopped in front of a large screen displaying the Dragon Ruins.

Inside the simulation, another team of challengers was currently fighting the Dragonkin Guardians.

The black-robed cultivator watched silently for several moments.

Then he nodded slightly.

"So the rumors were true."

His voice was calm but carried a faint authority that immediately drew attention.

Standing behind the counter, Lin Tian leaned casually against the table while watching him.

"You must have traveled a long way."

The man turned his gaze toward Lin Tian.

Their eyes met.

For a brief moment, the entire shop seemed to grow quiet.

Then the black-robed cultivator spoke.

"My name is Mo Tian."

"I am an elder of the Black Abyss Sect."

The name created an immediate reaction among the cultivators.

Several disciples gasped.

"The Black Abyss Sect?!"

"That's one of the strongest sects in the northern territories!"

Even some of the visiting cultivators from other sects looked surprised.

The Black Abyss Sect was known for producing extremely powerful warriors who specialized in dangerous combat techniques. Their cultivators often traveled across the cultivation world seeking powerful opponents.

For someone from such a sect to personally visit Cloud Mist Peak meant that the reputation of the training hall had spread incredibly far.

Mo Tian continued studying the training realms on the screens.

"A place where cultivators can fight endless battles."

"A system that sharpens combat instincts."

"And a legendary realm where an ancient dragon can be defeated."

His eyes slowly returned to Lin Tian.

"This place…"

"…is extraordinary."

Lin Tian smiled faintly.

"It's simply a place for training."

Mo Tian shook his head slightly.

"No."

"This place is far more than that."

He glanced toward the ranking board.

The names of the Dragon Ruins Conquerors still glowed brightly.

"Such a system could change how cultivators grow stronger."

The disciples nearby remained silent as they listened to the conversation.

Mo Tian slowly walked toward the advanced machines on the third floor.

Then he spoke again.

"I want to test this place myself."

The room filled with excitement once again.

Another powerful challenger had appeared.

And this time, it was an elder-level cultivator from one of the most dangerous sects in the region.

Lin Tian nodded calmly.

"You're welcome to try."

Mo Tian placed a pouch of spirit stones on the counter.

"I will challenge your Dragon Ruins."

Chen Yu raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Alone?"

Mo Tian glanced at him briefly.

"I prefer fighting alone."

Several disciples exchanged surprised looks.

The Dragon Ruins had been designed for a team of five cultivators.

Even powerful fighters like Long Wei had needed allies to defeat the Ancient Dragon Remnant.

But Mo Tian simply walked toward one of the machines.

Without hesitation, he activated the Legendary Realm.

The screen flashed.

Moments later, his consciousness entered the simulation.

Inside the Dragon Ruins, the ancient battlefield appeared once again.

Broken pillars stood scattered across the cracked ground.

The crimson sky loomed above the ruins.

Mo Tian stood alone at the center of the battlefield.

Moments later—

The ground trembled.

Several Dragonkin Guardians emerged from the shadows.

Inside the computer shop, the watching crowd leaned closer to the screens.

"He's really fighting alone!"

"Those guardians were strong even for a team!"

The Dragonkin Guardians roared and charged forward.

Mo Tian did not move immediately.

He simply stood there calmly.

Then—

He raised one hand.

Dark spiritual energy gathered around his palm.

In a single motion, he stepped forward.

His attack struck the first guardian directly.

The impact shattered the creature's armor instantly.

Inside the computer shop, the watching disciples gasped.

"That attack…"

"It destroyed the guardian in one strike!"

Mo Tian moved again.

His body blurred through the battlefield like a shadow.

Within seconds, the remaining guardians fell one after another.

The entire fight ended almost instantly.

Back inside the Cloud Mist Internet Café, the room fell silent.

Even the powerful cultivators watching from the upper floors looked shocked.

Chen Yu stared at the screen.

"He defeated them… effortlessly."

Yan Feng nodded slowly.

"That strength…"

Long Wei narrowed his eyes.

"…is on another level."

Standing behind the counter, Lin Tian quietly watched the screen.

Inside his mind, the system panel flashed once more.

DING

Mythic Realm Unlock Progress: 52%

Lin Tian smiled faintly.

The arrival of powerful challengers like Mo Tian was accelerating the system's evolution faster than ever.

And if someone like him continued fighting inside the training realms…

The next stage of the Cloud Mist Internet Café might arrive sooner than anyone expected.
