In a hidden place, there were many cities. Among them, two cities were the most different from the others.
One was the Angel City, where angels lived together with humans.
The other was the Vampire City, where vampires lived.
Both cities were extremely beautiful, and the people in both places lived happily. However, there was one strict rule: the people of these two cities could not enter each other's city.
Many years ago, the king of Angel City and the king of Vampire City made an agreement. Because of that agreement, the two cities were located very close to each other, but no person from either city was allowed to cross into the other.
No one knew what exactly had happened in the past. Still, the people of both cities respected their kings and followed the rule.
The king of Angel City had a son named Kai.
Kai cared deeply about his people, just like his father. The girls in the city admired him very much. Many of them wished that Kai would look at them even once, but Kai had never paid attention to anyone.
Kai had a childhood friend named Dave, who was always by his side. The king had assigned Dave to protect Kai. Although Kai was an angel, his powers had not awakened yet. Because of this, the king was worried and ordered Dave—who was skilled in many abilities—to stay with Kai and protect him.
However, Kai did not know that Dave was actually following the king's orders.
The Vampire King had two children: a daughter and a son.
The daughter, Anna, possessed all the powers of a vampire. She was beautiful, intelligent, and fast. Anna was very curious about Angel City. She wanted to take it for herself someday, but before that she wanted to know what had really happened in the past that made it impossible for the two cities to enter each other's territory.
On the other hand, the son, Raven, was extremely handsome and powerful. He had all the abilities of a vampire.
The people of Vampire City had many different opinions about him.
Some thought he was rude.
Some believed he was arrogant.
Others considered him cruel.
In the eyes of many people, he was the bad son of their good king.
But despite all that, Raven was very popular. Many girls admired him.
Just like his sister, he was also interested in Angel City. In his childhood memories, he remembered playing happily in that city with a friend. But now, he could no longer go there.
One day, Kai went outside the city with Dave to explore the surrounding area. However, it became night before they could return.
Because it was dangerous to travel through the forest at night, they decided to stay there until morning.
Dave said,
"I'll go get something to eat. Please don't go anywhere."
Kai nodded.
"Alright."
Dave took longer than expected to return. Worried, Kai decided to look for him.
As he walked through the forest, suddenly a black tiger appeared. The tiger jumped toward Kai and was about to attack him.
Just at that moment, someone stopped the tiger.
It was Raven.
Raven and Anna had arrived there and saved Kai.
Kai looked at Raven, surprised. His eyes stayed on him for a moment before he asked,
"Who are you?"
Raven didn't answer.
At that moment, Dave arrived and quickly pulled Kai away from them.
He said in a worried voice,
"They are vampires! Are you alright? Did they hurt you?"
Kai shook his head.
He looked at Raven again and said softly,
"Thank you."
But Raven didn't reply. Without saying anything, he took Anna with him and left.
Kai kept looking at Raven as he disappeared into the darkness. For some reason, he felt happy after seeing him.
But at the same time, a question kept repeating in his mind.
