Chapter 1 - CORRUPT SYSTEM

This is the earth where humans and diffrent types of animal live

3 moons hung in the space stabilising the earth but cannot control human interests

Under the cloak of night In the narrow streets of isorope country a boy named lucan was just wandering around with jiggling sounds of few coins in the pocket and a dream to be the richest in the country

He heard a noise of man far away at the end of next Street begging by whispering to someone and it was non other than police agents also known as spyde force of the country the servants the regulator of law but still exploiting their citizens.....

Lucan saw something he wasn't meant to

The policeman used his hand to lend a hit on vital point of the man begging him to spare his life it wasn't a ordinary hit by the police man as the hit instantly killed the other man....

Lucan knew it was the time to go in the orphanage and take a rest for tommorow's day...

The first thing lucan did as he woke up was

Count the money he have earned in the meantime

As he counts he says "just one more day" and get ready for his job at the grocery store....

Lucan quickly washed his face in the small bathroom of the orphanage and walked outside. The morning air was cold but the streets were already waking up. Shops were opening and people were walking to their jobs.

Lucan was only 13 years old, but he already worked like an adult.

He walked toward the grocery store where he worked.

The shop owner, an old man named Brent, was standing outside arranging the vegetable crates.

"Late again," Brent said.

Lucan didn't respond and simply started working.

He stacked boxes, arranged fruits, cleaned the floor and helped customers the entire day. The work was tiring but Lucan didn't complain. Every coin he earned mattered.

But his mind kept going back to what he saw last night.

The Spyde force officer killing that helpless man with just one strike.

Lucan still couldn't understand how someone could kill like that so easily.

But he understood something else.

This city wasn't safe.

If even the people who control the law can kill someone in the street, then this place wasn't worth staying in.

By afternoon the store became quiet.

Lucan sat near the counter for a moment and looked outside the window.

The same streets.

The same people.

The same life.

Lucan quietly said to himself,

"I'm leaving tomorrow."

Brent looked at him from the other side of the shop.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing."

The rest of the day passed slowly.

When evening came Brent paid Lucan for the day.

Lucan took the money and left the shop.

The sky was getting darker and the three moons slowly appeared above the city again.

Lucan walked through the same street where he saw the murder the night before.

Everything looked normal now.

No blood.

No people.

Nothing.

As if it never happened.

Lucan stood there for a moment and then continued walking.

He reached the orphanage and entered quietly.

The other kids were eating dinner but Lucan wasn't very hungry.

He sat down for a few minutes and then went back to his room.

Inside the small room he counted his money again.

Not a lot.

But enough to leave.

Lucan packed a small bag with a few clothes and kept the money safely in his pocket.

He sat on the bed and looked around the room.

This place was his home for many years.

But it was time to go.

Lucan looked outside the window at the three moons shining in the night sky.

Tomorrow morning he would leave Isorope.

Where he would go next...

He didn't know.

But he knew one thing for sure.

He wouldn't stay in a city where people like the Spyde force ruled the streets.

Lucan laid down on the bed and closed his eyes.

Tomorrow would be the beginning of something new.

Lucan woke up early in the morning.

The first thing he did, just like every day, was count his money again. He spread the coins and notes on the bed and counted them carefully.

Still the same.

He nodded to himself and put the money back safely.

Lucan then went through his normal morning routine. He washed his face, fixed his hair and walked to the small dining area of the orphanage for breakfast.

Some of the kids were already sitting there eating.

Lucan quietly sat down and ate with them.

After breakfast he walked toward the office where the mother of the orphanage stayed. She looked up when Lucan entered.

"You're leaving today, aren't you?" she asked.

Lucan nodded.

She sighed but gave him a small smile.

"Take care of yourself out there."

Lucan nodded again.

After that he walked through the orphanage one last time. Some of the younger kids waved at him while others were busy playing.

Finally he stopped at the door of his room.

He looked inside for a few seconds.

The old beds.

The cracked walls.

The small window.

This was the last time he would see it.

Lucan quietly closed the door and walked away.

A few hours later Lucan stood near the harbor of his town in Isorope.

Boats were leaving toward different territories within the country.

Lucan bought a ticket for a boat traveling to the second territory of Isorope.

Soon the boat left the harbor and his old town slowly disappeared behind him.

Lucan stood near the railing looking at the water.

For the first time in his life…

He had left the place where he grew up.

When the boat reached the second territory, the area felt much busier than the town Lucan came from.

People were moving everywhere.

Markets were loud.

Carts filled with goods rolled through the streets.

Lucan walked through the crowd, trying to understand the new place.

Suddenly—

thud

He bumped into someone.

A girl.

Both of them stepped back awkwardly.

"Sorry," Lucan said.

"Sorry," the girl said at the same time.

They both paused for a moment.

"My name is Lucan," he said.

"Sizo," the girl replied.

They gave each other a small awkward nod before walking in opposite directions.

Lucan didn't think much about it and continued walking through the market streets.

Later that day Lucan bought a small tent from a shop.

Since he didn't have enough money for a house, he decided to stay in the forest outside the territory for now.

He walked into the forest and found a quiet spot between a few large trees.

Lucan set up the tent carefully.

After finishing, he returned to the city to look for work.

Eventually he found a huge fruit shop in the main market.

The owner looked at him for a moment.

"You want a job?"

Lucan nodded.

"You'll carry crates, arrange fruits and clean the place. Pay is 8000 roins per month."

Lucan agreed immediately.

He started working that same day.

While Lucan was working, something unusual happened in the market.

Three Spyde Force officers entered the area.

The moment people saw them, the market grew quiet.

Behind them walked a person wearing a long dark coat.

She was a general of the Spyde Force.

Her name was Mazu.

Everyone stepped aside as they walked forward.

At the center of the market stood a man known as a mafia boss. Many people in the territory feared him.

But Mazu didn't look afraid at all.

They exchanged a few words that Lucan couldn't hear clearly.

Suddenly the mafia boss pulled out a gun.

Bang.

The bullet shot straight toward Mazu.

Lucan's eyes widened.

But something impossible happened.

The bullet passed straight through Mazu's body.

For a brief moment her body became transparent, almost like she wasn't completely there.

The bullet continued flying and hit the wall behind her.

Before anyone could react—

Mazu stepped forward and delivered a single powerful punch.

The mafia boss collapsed instantly, unconscious.

The entire market went silent.

Lucan froze.

The strange power he saw yesterday in his old town…

Now he had seen something even stranger.

The Spyde Force officers grabbed the unconscious mafia boss and took him away.

Mazu simply walked out of the market like nothing had happened.

That night Lucan returned to the forest and entered his tent.

He laid down but couldn't fall asleep immediately.

His mind kept replaying the moment.

The bullet.

Her body turning transparent.

That single punch.

"What… was that power?" Lucan whispered.

Eventually the forest became quiet and Lucan slowly drifted to sleep.

The next morning the market was filled with rumors.

Everyone was talking about Mazu.

Lucan heard the news while working at the fruit shop.

Mazu had been fired from the Spyde Force.

All her government properties and securities were seized.

And according to the rumors…

She had one year left before she would be sentenced to thirty years in prison.

No one knew the full reason yet.

But everyone was talking about it.

Lucan kept thinking about the power he saw yesterday.

When Lucan finished his shift that evening, the sun was beginning to set.

He walked out of the fruit shop and looked around the market.

Then he saw her.

Mazu.

She was standing alone near the side of the street.

Lucan hesitated for a moment.

Then he slowly walked toward her.

When he got close enough, he spoke.

"Mazu—"

And at that moment…
