Chapter 1 - Chapter One

Anomic

 (CHAPTER ONE)

 (AARON HARBRINGER)

In the world of Anomic. A planet separated by three continents. First— the continent of Jimhara, a dry desert continent with a few forests and oasis biomes on its map, as well as a freezing tundra far north.

And then, the second continent of Derjanzel

A continent of the plains, but large deserts and forests still find their way in the continent, and like Jimhara, the north is nothing more than a freezing, uninhabited tundra.

And third. The unnamed continent, the one people are scared to visit. The secret continent. No one knows what's inside them, and most likely. No one will ever know what could possibly be inside.

 ——————————— Arway

 ———————————

On the vast dry desert of the continent of Jimhara, a young mercenary named Aaron Harbringer, along with his group of three other mercenaries finally reached the main city of Arway.

They headed over to their hideout to rest after such a long journey in the dunes. They hid their weapons and guns to avoid drawing attention from the public.

Inside the city, they saw that it had changed a lot since the last time they had been here. Aaron, along with his crew, went to their apartment to check if their hideout was still secure.

They found the building where their hideout was located, a six-story structure with eight rooms on each floor, which served as their refuge.

The group observes outside the apartment, checking their surroundings, and hiding their low-grade weapons.

While scanning their surroundings, a charming voice introduces itself at the main entrance, "Gentlemen."

The group looked at the main entrance and saw a white man wearing a brown sleeve shirt with a vest.

"You look familiar," The Man said, pointing to Aaron.

"I'm Trinity Vinyl." The man introduces himself.

The group went to the counter.

"I– is this Apartment Complex Number Five?" Aaron asked with a groggy voice.

"Well then! You're in the right place, my friend!" Trinity welcomed them with a smile.

Trinity asked, "What is it you need, partner? A room? Or you already got one?"

Aaron answered, "Room twelve, I suppose."

"Oof... That room, has already been bought out. But no worries!, I got a hell ton of rooms ready for just you!" Trinity said with a grin.

Aaron then reached for his pockets and took out a small key. "No worries, the room is mine," Aaron said as he showed Trinity the key.

"Well then! Get on, going, fellas! I'll be here when you need me!"

The group proceeded to room twelve after the conversation with Trinity.

The door opened slowly. The group entered with caution and scanned the room.

"Clear" Aaron said calmly.

The group slowly closed the door behind them and relaxed inside the room. Some went to the bedroom, some went to the couch.

One of the mercenaries sat on the couch and relaxed, "Wasn't that a stressful mission?"

Aaron, nearby, grinned at him, "Alfred. No mission is easy, but this one is different."

Alfred chuckled. "Oh, yes.. never thought I'd enjoy being here."

Another mercenary came over, and she playfully punched Alfred, "That means you don't enjoy it here!"

"Ow" Alfred groans.

"Come on, Hellen, it's just a joke." Alfred is pointing at her.

Hellen then sat next to Alfred.

"Where is Cisco?" Hellen asked.

Aaron answered, "Probably in the bedroom, resting."

Alfred jokes around, "That dude is always resting."

Both Aaron and Hellen chuckled.

"Oh well, I'm gonna take a rest too then," Aaron said feeling exhausted.

The group nodded.

Aaron went to the bedroom and found Cisco already in deep slumber on the top bunk. Aaron sat down on the bottom bunk, and he checked his backpack.

As he opened it slowly, inside, the backpack was full of low-grade weapons that they had stolen during their mission.

He closed the backpack and put it aside, hoping that they could sell the stolen armory on the market.

Unlike in the other continents, Jimhara is known for being the most dangerous one, bandits and other rival groups roam the vast deserts, and they've been known to attack governmental buildings, as well as raid cities.

Aaron and his group were mercenaries. They are hired to kill bandits, even tho it's a dangerous job, the pay isn't that great, hence why they stole weapons to resell them.

Aaron, even tho as a mercenary, despises the government. The leader of the entire continent is Major Zephyr.

He hated how they ruled, but he couldn't really blame them, because if he were in their place, he would probably be the same, as it was hard to rule on such a corrupted continent.

Nonetheless, Aaron was sleepy. He decided to lie down on the bed and rest.

———

Nine hours later..

Aaron opened his eyes, and he looked at the window seeing that it was the dead of night.

He immediately got up and looked around, checking his phone. He realized it was 3 a.m.

Cisco was still in slumber on the top bunk, and Aaron immediately started waking him up.

"Wha...at?" Cisco said groggily.

"Wake up! It's 3 a.m." Aaron yelled.

Cisco then immediately got up and hit his head on the ceiling. "Ouch!!" Cisco said in pain.

Aaron went out of the living room and saw Hellen and Alfred sleeping on the couch.

He immediately woke them up and told them they might be late.

The group then assembled in the living room. They all took out their backpacks, each of which was full of low-grade weapons. And ammunition.

They first inspected every single weapons for any defect. After a while of inspecting.

"Aaron, is this a defect?" -Hellen asked, pointing at the barrel of a Mac-10.

Aaron took the MAC-10 and inspected the barrel.

"Sure, seems like it. Disassemble it, and we can sell the parts. Leave the barrel, it's useless," Aaron said as he gave the gun back to Hellen.

The group continued checking the guns. After finding no more defects, they organized it in different bags—one full of pistols, another with SMGs, and a third filled with ammunition.

"Looks like we're all set, Aaron", Cisco said calmly.

"Yeah, don't forget anything important. What time is it, Hellen?" Aaron said.

"Let me check," Hellen said as she reached for her phone.

"It's about 5 a.m. We're good to go, I think." Hellen said after checking the time.

Aaron then pulled a map out of his backpack. "So we're gonna sell these weapons to an armsmith in the airfield," Aaron said as he was pointing at the a irfield on the map.

Cisco asked with a cold tone, "What route should we take going into the airfield?"

Aaron thinks for a moment..

Alfred then points to a road on the map, "How about the Garfield Road here? I mean it's kind of risky, but uhh... It works! Right?" Alfred suggested with an awkward smile.

The group looked at him awkwardly.

"What?" Alfred asked confused.

Hellen then backs him up, "I mean it works. No?"

"There you go! Someone agreed, majority wins!" Alfred said, being confident.

"That's not the majority..." Hellen said, grumpy.

"Oh... Well, I'm only human, and I make mistakes," Alfred said jokingly.

Hellen looked at him with tired eyes. "With that behavior, you're not a human..."

Cisco raised his hand, "So, Aaron. Do we go to the Garfield Road? It's risky, since that part is covered in the oasis, but... It's still the best current choice... Right?."

"I mean, seems like it. But we don't have a car, and we can't just walk there," Aaron said.

Aaron then asked the group. "How many pings do we all currently have?"

Everyone then started searching their bags and pockets for money, which is called ping.

After searching they gathered all their pings and placed them in the table so they could count.

"200 pings... A normal car costs about 3k pings," Alfred said in dissatisfaction.

"Yeah. The last mission didn't go that well, because they fled, and we didn't get any money from the bounty. Only their guns" Hellen said.

The group went quiet not knowing what to do.

"So we walk?" Alfred suggested

"On the road with 18 kg of guns in our bag? I don't think so..." Aaron argued.

A few more moments of silence as the group doesn't know what to do.

"How much money do you guys have in your banks?" Alfred asked.

"I have nothing," Hellen replied.

"Same here." -Cisco followed.

"I got about 400 pings, I think. What about you, Alfred?" Aaron asked.

"600 pings. We can rent a car with that. And probably get like 11k pings, ,selling these weapons." Alfred replied.

Aaron then stood up. "Well, we can both get to the Arway Bank here. And you both stay and protect these weapons. We will knock eight times when we're here. Don't be scared to shoot..." Aaron instructs Cisco and Hellen.

Both Aaron and Alfred then went out of the room and made their way through the main entrance to leave.

They reached the main door and watched the sun rise as they were about to go outside. They heard a very familiar voice behind them. "HOLD UP, FRIENDS!"

They looked behind and saw Trinity gasping for air.

Trinity then adjusted his shirt. "I have a car. And I'm willing to make a trade here, right now for your partner." Trinity said while gasping for air.

Aaron took one step with caution. "What do you mean you have a car? You know what we're doing?"

"Hey, I just happened to have bugged the entire building, and I coincidentally heard everything," Trinity said with an awkward smile.

Aaron whispered something to Alfred to which Alfred nodded

Aaron then replied in anger. "Bugs? Is that it?"

"No cameras here, my friend, I'm way too broke for that." -Trinity grinned.

Aaron walked up to Trinity. And held his neck, Trinity's back slamming into the walls.

"What else do you know..." Aaron asked coldly.

"As I said, everything that you said in the apartment, but none of them is a bad secret, isn't it?" Trinity replied with an awkward grin.

Aaron lets go of Trinity and steps back.

"Well... Partner, I'm here to offer you a good deal... Y'all got what? Four backpacks filled with guns and ammunition?. Give me one of the bags with guns, and yo,u've got yourself a good car." Trinity smirked.

Aaron went silent.

Trinity smiled at Aaron and confidently said, "I got a rumorous car ready for your best bag partner! Now ain't that a great deal."

"Fine... Come with me." Aaron said in defeat.

They both headed back to room 12, leaving Alfred behind.

Trinity gave a suspicious look to, Aaron but still went along.

When they got there, Aaron asked Trinity to open the door.

"You know that I'm supposed to knock eight times, right?" Trinity reminds him.

Aaron then said, "Well, go on. Open it..."

"Killing me would be a bad idea friend," Trinity said as he opened the door, without knocking.

He opened the door and saw Hellen and Cisco pointing a gun at him.

"Don't worry, he's fine," Aaron said as he intervened.

They both lowered their weapons slowly.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Hellen asked in an angry tone.

"We made a deal. And he can keep the bag of MAC-10s there for his rumorous car." -Aaron answered in defeat.

Trinity then clapped his hand in excitement.

"Give us the keys first." Aaron coldly said.

Trinity threw him the keys. "The car is in the driveway, my friend!"

Trinity inspected the bag and took it in excitement.

He went to hug Aaron, surprising him.

"Here's a little gift my friend!" Trinity said as he puts a silver pen in Aaron's pockets.

Trinity then exits the room, and dissapeared on the hallway.

"Welp we got a car worth 4k for something worth a little bit more. Not a bad deal i guess." Hellen said.

The group gathered their guns and went to the main entrance where they see Alfred waiting.

They went outside and saw a singular car parked.

They assumed it was the car that they had bought and went to check it.

"Not a bad car!" Alfred said with a grin.

The keys opened the door to the car. The smell of a brand-new car fills the air, raising the group's spirits.

"Let me drive this, please..." Alfred begged to the group.

The group nodded in appro, val, and alfred excitedly entered the car.

"Well then. Lets get going..." said Alfred with a slight grin.

"And this is when the real games starts." Aaron said with a grin.

Aaron took out the map and guidef Alfred on where to go.

They drove the car out of the driveway and went to the exit of the city that leads to Garfield Road.

On the way they have reached the main plaza of the city. The black road guiding them, people being somewhat passive. Garage houses opens to sell whatever it is they desire.

The thick-desert like atmosphere seems to dissapear whitin the plaza, almost like its inviting them.

Hellen looked at the right. She saw people selling—banned medicines, high tier guns and armor, cars, and anything legal or not. If illegal is a justified word at this point.

They saw the sherrif station nearby. They are doing nothing about the illegal transactions, not because they are corrupt, but simply because without them. The economy would fall.

The most illegal crime that even the people hate is—counterfeiting money, when the economy is already not that good, counterfeiting money just makes it worse.

While they were driving, suddenly a Man full with weapons screamed. "FUCK YOU GREEDY CAPITALISTS!!" The Man pulled out his weapon and began shooting everyone.

Some of the people ran to safety, but most saw a great opportunity.

Before The Man knew it, he was sprayed with countless bullet. Holes scattered all across his body.

The Man went down, and instantly everyone rushed towards him, not to help, but to take his high tier weapons. Even Sherriffs ran to get the weapons. In this economy its, finders keepers.

Another man grabbed the AK that the guy has, aswell as his vest. He jumped in excitement, yelling, "BEST FUCKIN DAY!".

The people clapped for him, even those who tried to get the dead body's stuff. After taking everything. The dead man is naked, they even took his clothes.

And he was just simply left there to rot on the street, but then several paramedics arrived, not to help but to simply clean the street. They took the dead body out and went on with their day.

 ——————————— GARFIELD OASIS

 ———————————

Finally the group was able to reach Garfield Road. In a deserted dune continent, they reached a place where its a nice peaceful forrest. The road seems strong and durable, probably because no-one goes here often.

The group rolled down their window to enjoy the nature of the green oasis.

Fresh air entered their nose, the smell of flowers flood their endorphins. On a ruthless world, its good to meet peace for sometime.

But the peace wasn't there for too long. The group while driving encountered a parked car in the middle of the road.

They stopped the car abruptly, and took out their weapons.

"Could it be a carjacking?" Alfred said to the group nervously.

"Maybe... We should just go." Aaron replied.

Right after Alfred was about to start the car, a mechanical clicking sound echoed throughout the trees nearby.

The group turned their attention onto Forrest.

"Counterfeiters?" Hellen asked with a confused glare.

"Maybe" Aaron followed.

The group gets out of the car and locked it, they first inspected the parked car, seeing that its locked.

Hellen took out a lockpick and began lockpicking the trunk, while the rest remain a lookout for any potential danger.

The trunk made a click sound as Hellen successfully opened it.

Inside the trunk were—wrench, crowbars, lockpicks, and all sorts of construction tools, aswell as tools for stealing.

Hellen took the lockpicks and crowbar, the group then closed the trunk and began popping all the tires.

As Aaron reached the final tire, he was about to pop it, when he saw a man in the woods standing in shock.

The Man screamed, "SOMEONE FOUND US!", and began to run in the forrest.

Aaron and the rest of the group then immediately chase The Man.

"GET BACK HERE, COUNTERFEITERS!" Alfred yelled.

The group kept on chasing the man, until Aaron decided to start shooting. Aaron couldnt shoot properly as he was running and missed most shots. "CISCO! SHOOT HIM." Aaron yelled.

Cisco stoppped in his track, and shot one bullet to The Man hitting his knee and making him fall.

The group catched up to The Man and pinned him down.

"What the hell was that." Aaron said with a cold tone.

"Hey man, i had to do business. Just life..." The Man replied with a scared tone.

Hellen then stepped on the injured knee. The Man groaned in pain. "Loud printers you got huh?."

The Man yelled, "WE'RE NOT PRINTING YOU DUMB BITCH!".

Right after he said that another loud printing sound echoed throughout the forrest.

Hellen slapped him. "Who the hell, would print in the middle of the forrest, and with that loud of a printer."

The Man stayed quiet.

Cisco then sat down looking at the man.

"Tell us where you're printing." Cisco coldy said, he then grabbed The Man's hand

"One finger for one second..." Cisco said with a threatening tone.

The Man yelled. "Oh yeah!? BREAK ALL THE FINGER'S YOU LIKE, THOSE GUYS WOULD KILL ME ONCE THEY REALIZED I SOLD THEM!"

Cisco then broke one of his finger. "One."

"FUCK!" -The Man yelled in agony.

"Two" Cisco quietly said, after breaking one of his finger.

The Man then pointed to a direction in the forrest, "RIGHT FUCKING THERE! COME BACK IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME!"

The group left The Man on the forrest grass, and went to the direction that he pointed to.

After walking for 10 minutes straight, they thought about The Man lying to them. But a few moments later they heard the printing sound again, but this time very loud.

They rushed thinking they are getting closer, and finally they saw a group of people printing.

There were six men with three duffel bags full of fake cash. They have weapons but only meele ones

They seem to be oblivious on what was happening.

Aaron then stepped up, and muttered "Counterfeiters.."

The counterfeiters then looked at the group with a terrified glare.

Hellen and Alfred stepped up and pointed guns at them

"Drop your weapons. Any sudden move and you're dead." Aaron warned them.

One of the counterfeiter then said. "Well. Looks like that stinking pile of shit, Trevor sold us out." He points at Aaron with a mocking smile. "What's your name pretty boy. Mine is Jasper Aspar, the asparagus of the continent Jimhara!" Jasper said in confidence.

"Shut up you ragtag bandits." Aaron replied.

Aaron aproached the money printers, he saw that they were printing 500 ping bills.

"You see how obvious, these bills are? A blind person can easily tell them apart." Aaron said in a threatening glance.

Jasper responded with a grin. "Not the brightest question there pretty. You can clearly see that they aren't finished."

Aaron then pointed his guns at the printer, and began shooting them, and completely destroying the printers.

"WHOA! Chill a bit there prince charming, i think we started on the wrong foot, how about we do some proper introduction to ourself first, y'know." Jasper said with a fading grin.

"Wrong foot indeed." Aaron said coldly.

Aaron instructed his group to take the duffel bags with fake money.

"Now. What are you doing with those unfinished bills sweetheart." Jasper said pointing to Aaron

"Sell them to a forger. Could make us some living." Aaron replied. As he walked away.

Jasper then yelled. "Watch your back pretty! This isn't the last time we see eachother!."

The group dismissed this and walked back to the car.

They found Trevor who gave them the location.

They saw him being mauled to death by a wild animal.

They ignored it and kept on walking to the car.

Aaron looked over with empathetic glance and so did Alfred, there wasn't anything they could really do, even tho it was their fault.

On the way back they keep hearing faint and small noises behind them.

The group while walking is still checking their rear to see if they are being followed.

Finally, the group reached the car, they saw the parked car still on the road but choose to ignore it.

Aaron decided to shoot at the windshield. To prevent them from driving even more.

They stuffed the duffel bags in the trunk and closed it, they got inside the car and the engine roared as they got out of Garfield Road.

 ——————————— Tile Two

 ———————————

Outside Garfield Road. They are now back in the dune scape, dry world of Anomic. The group closed their window to prevent sand from getting inside.

The barren wilderness outside seems depressing compared to the lovely nature of the oasis.

The road stretched out for miles with different track across the desert, sometimes structures would be present in these road.

They noticed a gas station nearby. Seeing that the journey is still long, they decided to stop at the gas station.

When the group got there, they parked at the station. And Aaron instructs the group to stay and he will buy the gas and foods for the roadtrip.

Aaron entered the gas station. A metal detector was waiting for him inside,he already gave all his weapons away to his group.

The metal detector lets him pass through, inside the station was chairs on the side with some designs. No shelves, no food to take.

At the very back of the store was the owner, locked in a counter with bulletproof glass covering the entire back side. As well as an exchange counter bin or called the transaction. Theres menu's on the wall that lists everything that the owner sells.

Aaron is used to this as almost every shop is like this, its normal for this world to have these shops, for safety and for the economy.

The gas station clerk greeted him, "Good morning and welcome fellas! What brings you here today?." The Clerk asked with a smile.

"Three pings, on pump seven, a regular." Aaron then looked at the lists."and let me have four fries and five burgers with that." Aaron said with an awkward smile.

The clerk then clicked a button that opened the transaction bin on the customer side. "That would be 8 pings, good sir." The Clerk said with a grin.

Aaron reached for his pockets to pay, and tossed—a five bills ping, followed with a two, and a one.

The Clerk clicked another button closing the transaction bin and opening it to his side. He took the money, and went out the back.

After a few moments, the clerk went back with the burgers and fries, and a ticket. He placed it in the bin and clicked a button opening it again to the customer side.

"Thanks for visiting sir!." The Clerk said with a grin.

Aaron took the food and ticket and heads out.

He saw the group waiting for him, he gave them the food, as they sat in the car to eat.

———

After finishing the meal, Aaron stands up and inserted the tickets onto the pumping machine. The machine began pumping gasoline to the car.

After it is done, Aaron puts it back and the group entered the car preparing to leave.

Alfred starts up the car as they left the gas station.

The journey was long and harsh, several sandstorm hit them, but they still stand.

Atlast the finally reached the airfeild. It was their first time seeing a wind turbine. It was big and tall.

The airfeild doesn't have any planes or any flying vehicles. But theres so many guards, 30 to 50 at most. watching their every turn towards the airfeild.

Aaron sticks his hand in the window giving them a sign that they are the ones selling the guns.

After this sign, the guards lowered their weapons.

Aaron, Cisco and Hellen stepped out of the car.

"GENERAL! Its me! Im the mercenary dealer here!" Aaron yelled out.

The General looked at them, and approached the group with a welcoming grin.

"That's the guy were supposed to sell these weapons too? What is he? A government official or what?" Hellen muttered while scratching her head.

"He isn't a government figure. He just found this abandoned airfield and kept it." Aaron replied.

The General is a big man, almost twice the size of Aaron, he is atleast 7 foot tall. He is fat and big, his clothes barely fitting him. They are tight but the tactical vests still fits with ease.

"You may not know my full name... Call me General Vargas Dart." General Vargas introduced himself, opening his arms as he was welcoming them.

General Vargas along with his guards Approached Aaron. "Four bags of guns. Right?" General Vargas said with a deep tone.

"Well, we sold one of the bags for the car." Aaron said pointing to the rumorus car. "So we only got three left. Is that good, general?".

General Vargas looked at his men with a serious glare.

"Three is good." General Vargas muttered. He then made a signal of one of the guards behind him.

Hellen and Cisco took out the bags full of weapons, and dropped them in the floor, for them to inspect thoroughly.

"We ask for 7k pings for everything." Hellen said after dropping the guns.

General Vargas looked at her intently. "Pretty girl." He then looked straight onto Aaron's eyes. "Deal is done."

General Vargas then reached for his pockets and took out a bundle of cash. And picked out a 2k bill and a 5k bill, next he took a scissors and placed the bills in the scissors preparing to cut them. He does so and the bills wouldnt get scratched.

He then dropped the bills on the ground, and gave a gun to Aaron. "Shoot the bills" General Vargas said in a cold tone.

Aaron dropped the gun, and took out his own gun, and began shooting the bills.

Afterwards. The bills were unscathed.

"Good, proof they real?" General Vargas asked. To which Aaron nodded.

Aaron took the bills and went inside the car, as General Vargas and his men took the weapon.

They waited for Hellen and Cisco to enter the car and they got ready to turn the car around and leave.

As Cisco and Hellen entered the car, Alfred clicked the button to lock the car but accidentally, it opened the trunk.

As he twsited the wheels, and turned the car, one of the bags containing the money lunged out of the car.

It dropped hard on the ground the fake cash spilling infront of General Vargas.

General Vargas came forward and took one of the fake cash. "Counterfeiters" General Vargas said in a quiet angry voice.

He stood up and as the car was about to go away. He shouted. "CHASE AND KILL THEM!."

"SHIT!" -Alfred yelled. As he pressed the button to close the trunk.

The car ran fast and the group panicked. Behind them, was a large HUMVEE already spraying bullets.

They fired back, and threw tear gasses slowing them down.

The HUMVEE roared behind them. Shots rang out, one of them hits the window, the cracks making it impossible for Hellen and Cisco to fire back.

Cisco ducked down and began kicking the window off. He managed the kick it off the car and the window went flying.

It smashed through the HUMVEE, shattered into pieces.

The shootout kept on happening from both sides. A man from the roof turret of the HUMVEE, then took out a grenade launcher, and shoot out an incendiary grenade. But missed to enter the car.

Cisco then pointed his gun at the man in the roof turret, and in a precise long shot. He managed to headshot the man killing him instantly.

The HUMVEE slowed down as they had lost one man, and slowly faded away from their view.

"You're a fucking life saver Cisco..." Aaron said while panting, Cisco just blankly stared at him and then stared at Hellen.

The group took a gigantic sigh of relief after the encounter.

"Well... Success right?". Alfred muttered with an awkward grin.

Aaron slapped him, in the back of his head, very hard. "You're never driving again." Aaron said in frustration.

"Im sorry. Alright, i just didn't know how the buttons work in a rumorus car."Alfred apologized with his hand shaking from adrenaline earlier.

"Whatever. Mistakes happens... Just dont do that same dumb shit again." Aaron said in a cold tone.

"Yes i know, were only huma-" Alfred said before getting cutted off.

"Nope. Dont even say that" Hellen said in a frustrated tone.

Alfred then went quiet.

The group decided to go back onto Garfield Road and back to Arway to stay for the night. But taking a different path this time.

Tomorrow, if everything went as plan then they planned in going to Pahrump. A much safer city than arway, where they would then gather enough money to live a comfortable simple lives in Derjanzel, and part ways with eachother.

A simple dream from everyone, that rarely anyone has achieved. Simply because the money is tight.

As they were in the car, suddenly on the skies above. A huge jet was seen by the group hovering around the skies.

Another jet came by and shot out the first jet causing it to crash somewhere very far away from them.

The second jet then fled the scene. The group thought about going there, but knowing the large distance, they decided it wasn't worth the risk.

As the group finally reached Garfield Road. The lowered the window once more to enjoy the oasis.

They expected finding the counterfeiters destroyed car, but they got suprised seing that it wasn't there.

 ——————————— Arway

 ———————————

The group finally reached the main plaza of arway. And parked in a nearby parking lot.

As they got out of the car, a man yelled at them. "You have to pay for parking!" -The Man shouted.

The Man ran up to them. "That's my parking lot! Pay me two ping to park for eight hours, if you dont then i will seize that broken junk." The Man said pointing at the car

Aaron then replied. "Two ping for parking? Are you mentally disabled? Im not paying for that."

The Man said "Then get the fuck out my driveway you grubs."

Hellen stepped forward, and threw five pings on the ground.

Aaron and The Man looked at her.

"What? Lets just go Aaron. This shit is not worth our trouble." She said in a tired tone.

The group then walked away as the man bend over and took the cash from the ground.

They went to find a car repair shop, to repair their rear glass. On the way to finding one, the types of establishments in the plaza is rather wild and interesting.

One was just a death game between two desprate player. And everyone inside was betting on who would win.

Another was an auction for illegal medicines, guns and even organs.

Some were just fun houses. Where customers can pay for pleasure, with the models they desire.

The group finally found a repair shop. They saw that its already occupied, and several men were already there fixing a very familiar car.

"Aaron... Isn't that the counterfeiters car?" Alfred whispered with a cautious look.

"Well... Well... Well... Looks like we've crossed paths again pretty." Jasper said with a grin as he stepped outside the shop. This time he is armed with a vest and an Armalite rifle.

The group stayed frozen, not knowing what to say.

"Now. What would bring you to a repair shop? Looks like something didn't go as plan, didnt it" Jasper smriked mocking them.

"You wanna cause trouble here? We can tell everyone your a counterfeiter..." Aaron warned with a cold tone.

"What good would that do? As far as i know, you have the fake bills, and I'm just a man who is reparing his vehicle." Jasper smirked, mocking Aaron.

"And like i said, we started off in the wrong foot didn't we? Lets give some proper introduction to ourselves shall we?" -Jasper said with a grin, he then called out one of his men. "HEY TRIGO! GET YOU BUTT UP HERE." Jasper yelled.

Trigo ran up to Jasper while also being armed. He is a tall black man, a little taller than Jasper.

"Hold up. That's them motherfuckers, who stole our shit." Trigo said pointing at Aaron's group, with a furious face. He then pointed his rifle at Aaron.

Aaron along with his group then also pointed his gun back to Trigo.

Before they can escalate, Jasper stood in the middle of both sides. "Woah, woah! Not the paths were supposed to go to in!." Jasper yelled.

He then went to Trigo, and whispered something, Trigo then lowered his weapon.

Aaron's group also followed by lowering their weapons.

"Now that the, situation is rectified. Lets us introduce ourselves." Jasper said with a grin. He then pulled out his phone, and typed something.

"This is Trigo Krull. Son of James Krull, and uhh— he is good." Jasper casually said

"My Papa's name is Jamie, what the hell is you talking about man." Trigo said.

Jasper then whispered something to him again.

Suddenly the rest of Jasper's group also saw them, "We got your message" one of them said.

Jasper then smirked. "The perfect timing for everything."

A voice from behind caught the attention of both sides. "Hey!". Alfred and Aaron turned around. "What the hell" -Alfred said.

The man who owned the parking garage then came to them, he breathes heavily after reaching them. "I need your name so i know how long you've been here.." The Man sighed.

"Jesse?" -Jasper muttered, Jasper then approached the man, they both hand shook eachother like they've been long friends.

The group turned cold, realising their dilemma. If Jasper knew where they parked their car, they would be in deep shambles.

"You know these people?!" Jasper asked.

"Well no. But they parked in my place, and i need their names so i know when their time expires." Jesse said.

"Well aint that a coincidence." Jasper smirked.

Jesse turned towards Aaron's group. "So. uhh... Names?".

As Aaron was about to speak up and tell his name, a voice behind him replied. "Cisco Albatral, that's my name." Cisco said coldly.

The group looked at Cisco. Jesse wrote the names and went out.

"Well ain't that a surprise. Pretty leader boy didn't take one for the team." Jasper smriked.

Suddenly, the mechanic that was fixing their car went up to them. "Car is done. Give 150 ping." The mechanic said with a strong tone.

Jasper gave the man 200 ping. "Keep the change, fella. We got something to do."

Jaspers group rushed inside the car, and drove off. Giving the Aaron a slanted look.

The group entered the shop wanting to buy resources to fix the car thenselves. But suddenly Jesse muttered "what the hell are they doing."

Aaron went out and looked at the direction Jesse was looking at, it was the parking lot. And Jasper and his groups were there, prying their car's trunk open with a crowbar.

"HEY! WHAT THE FUCK!" Aaron yelled, people got jumpscared by him.

Aaron signals his team to run back to the parking lot, and they ran. Dodging obstacles and people. Behind them is Jesse who decided to follow.

As they got in the parking lot, Jasper managed to open the trunk revealing the duffelbags. Aaron pointed their guns at them and Jasper's group pointed their guns back.

"Now, that is definitely a surprise. I wonder what is inside these bags." Jasper .said as he threw it on the ground.

People were already gathering up, some preparing to shoot and grub.

"Mind telling me? What is inside these gorgeous bags?." Jasper asked with a grin.

Cisco stepped up. "As far as i know, that is my car, the group has nothing to do with this. You can check on Jesse's list here."

"Well aren't you a delicate flower? Taking one for the team." Jasper smriked.

A Sherriff stepped up. "What in the earth, is happening in here?."

"Hey badge. You might wanna see what's inside the bag." Jasper said pointing at the Sherriff.

The Sheriff slowly approached the bag, and as he bent down to open it. A shot then rang out.

Cisco had shot the sheriff dead. As everyone stood frozen to process what was happening.

Cisco then threw several smoke grenades, causing panic in the public. The group ran in a nearby building, avoiding fire from the crowd.

They ran onto the back door of the building and hid in the walls of the alley. Shots were still heard as people not only tried to chase and kill them, but also amidst the confusion began shooting eachother.

They kept on running, left the alleys and ran on the back of all buildings towards outside the city.

They dodged obstacles and ran, they reached the dunes nearby the city, and looking back, they saw a car leaving the city to where the parking lot was.

They assumed it was Jasper and his group leaving the chaos and going to Route Six, where the road was pointing. But they didnt care and kept on running.

They finally got outside of the city and they lie down on the sand to rest for a moment.

"Wasn't that crazy." Aaron said with a tired smile.

Suddenly they heard several vehicles behind them. They looked upon the road and saw four heavily armed cars pull up. People came outside with high-tier guns.

And pointed at them.

"Crazy indeed friends." Trinity yelled as he stepped out of the car.

Trinity with a smirk said, "That little pen gift I gave, is a tracker my friend. Drop your guns now partner. We dont want blood getting all over those fine grain of sands do we?".

Aaron took out the silver pen. "Fuck you." Aaron said before he threw the silver pen at them.

"I dont have any smoke grenades left..." Cisco whispered to Aaron.

"We're out of ammos too." Alfred whispered.

"Come on partner. Lets talk like reasonable pragmatic fine men shall we." Trinity smirked.

"Well shit." Aaron said while trying to think of a plan.

Hellen and Alfred then dropped their weapons.

"What are you doing." Aaron said in confusion.

Cisco did the same, pressuring Aaron to follow. Aaron decided to drop his weapons. And they all stood up as they got apprehended by Trinity.

One by one, they were knocked out. At Aaron's turn, he looked at Trinity. That twisted crooked smile. Anger filled him. But before he knew it, everything went black.
