“The Night Friend”

Riya had just moved into a new house. The house was very old, and at night strange sounds came in as the wind passed through the corners of the roof.On the first night, Riya was about to fall asleep when she heard someone whisper softly,"Don't be afraid… I am your friend."Riya got scared. She thought maybe someone was playing a prank on her. But the next night, she heard the same voice again.One night, Riya gathered the courage and asked,"Who are you?"The voice replied,"I was a girl who used to live in this house. I died here 20 years ago. But I am not bad.
