Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – Confirming the Impossible

Chapter 2 – Confirming the Impossible

The word Genovia refused to leave Anshul's mind.

Even after dinner, even after the television had been switched off and the house slowly quieted down for the night, the thought lingered like an echo.

He sat at his study table, laptop open in front of him.

The soft glow of the screen illuminated his face.

"Alright… let's see."

His fingers moved across the keyboard.

Search.

Genovia country Europe

The results appeared instantly.

Anshul leaned forward.

His heartbeat quickened.

The first result was a government website.

He clicked it.

A beautifully designed page opened.

At the top was the royal crest of the Kingdom of Genovia.

Beneath it were the words:

The Royal Family of Genovia.

Anshul froze.

Slowly… very slowly… he scrolled down.

Then he saw it.

A photograph.

A woman with silver hair and a regal expression.

Elegant posture.

Sharp eyes.

Queen Clarisse Renaldi.

Anshul leaned back in his chair.

"…Holy shit."

The world spun slightly in his mind.

That face.

He knew it perfectly.

It was exactly the same as in the movie.

Which meant something very important.

This world was not just similar to the movie.

It was the movie world.

His fingers trembled slightly as he scrolled further.

Another article appeared.

A diplomatic event scheduled in the United States.

Location: San Francisco.

Anshul closed the laptop for a moment and rubbed his face.

"So it's real…"

He wasn't dreaming.

He wasn't imagining things.

The world he had been reborn into was the same world where Mia Thermopolis would eventually become the princess of Genovia.

The same timeline.

The same characters.

The same story.

And that meant the events he remembered from his previous life could still happen.

Anshul slowly exhaled.

His mind began racing.

If he truly knew the future of this world… then the opportunities were limitless.

But before thinking about the future, he needed to confirm one more thing.

He reopened the laptop and typed another search.

Mia Thermopolis San Francisco

Several results appeared.

Most of them were ordinary social media pages and local school websites.

He clicked one of them.

A school website.

A list of students involved in a debate club.

There it was.

Mia Thermopolis.

A small photo accompanied the name.

Messy hair.

Large glasses.

An awkward smile.

Anshul stared at the screen for several seconds.

"So it's really you…"

The shy girl who had once believed she was completely ordinary.

The girl who would soon discover she was actually the heir to the throne of Genovia.

And the girl whose life would change forever.

Anshul closed the laptop again and leaned back in his chair.

His thoughts slowly began to organize themselves.

First problem.

Distance.

San Francisco was on the other side of the planet.

Second problem.

Timing.

If he remembered the story correctly, Mia would discover her royal identity during high school.

Which meant the timeline was already moving.

Third problem.

Opportunity.

If he wanted to be part of that story…

He needed to get there.

But rushing blindly to another country wasn't realistic.

Anshul was still a student living in India.

He didn't have money.

He didn't have connections.

And he definitely didn't have a reason to suddenly move to America.

Yet.

He stood up and walked to the window.

Outside, the streetlights had turned on.

The neighborhood was quiet except for the occasional passing scooter.

For most people, the discovery he had just made would feel impossible.

But for Anshul, it felt like the beginning of something incredible.

Because unlike everyone else in this world…

He already knew the future.

A slow smile appeared on his face.

"San Francisco…"

If he wanted to meet Mia Thermopolis, there was only one logical path.

Study.

Study harder than everyone else.

Get accepted into a school abroad.

Build the kind of resume that would open international doors.

Only then could he reach the place where the story would unfold.

Anshul returned to his desk and opened a notebook.

At the top of the page he wrote three words.

San Francisco Plan.

Below that he began listing steps.

Improve English.

Prepare for international exams.

Research universities in California.

Build useful skills.

One by one the list grew longer.

The future he was planning wasn't simple.

But it was possible.

And if everything worked…

He wouldn't just be a spectator in the story of Genovia.

He would become part of it.

Maybe even change it.

Anshul glanced at the closed laptop again.

On the screen were the images of Queen Clarisse and Mia Thermopolis.

A queen.

And a girl who didn't yet know she was destined to become one.

Anshul's gaze sharpened with determination.

"Let's see where this story goes."

Outside, the wind rustled softly through the trees.

But inside that quiet room in Pune—

A plan that would eventually reach across the world had just begun to take shape.
