Synopsis
After his crushing defeat at the hands of Ichigo Kurosaki and Kisuke Urahara, and instead of being imprisoned eternally in Muken, Sōsuke Aizen finds himself reborn in the body of an orphaned child in the Hidden Leaf Village, Konoha. Aizen gradually regains his memories and unbreakable will during the same era that witnessed the rise of the Yellow Flash of Konoha, Minato Namikaze. While everyone else races to become Hokage, Aizen views the position as a small cage unworthy of his ambition. With an intellect that surpasses even Konoha’s greatest prodigies, he begins studying the arts of sealing (Fūinjutsu) and illusion techniques (Genjutsu), transforming Kyōka Suigetsu from a Zanpakutō into a terrifying visual or mental technique. His goal is not to destroy Konoha, but to reshape the world he sees as “distorted,” just as he once attempted to do within the Soul Society.

Chapter 1 - Beginning of Chapter One: “The Embodiment of Selfishness”

The darkness in Muken had been absolute, but the void he felt now was different. It wasn't cold. It pulsed.

He slowly opened his eyes. There were no stone walls—only a worn wooden ceiling and the faint smell of cheap incense. He raised a hand before his face. It was small, thin, lacking the scars and strength he had once grown accustomed to.

"So… this is death?" he murmured, his voice childish and unfamiliar to his own ears. "Or just another mockery of fate?"

He rose from the bed and walked toward a cracked mirror in the corner of the room. Reflected in it was the face of a boy with messy brown hair and calm eyes—far too calm for someone his age. At that moment, memories flooded in… not his memories as the commander of the Espada, but the memories of the child whose body he now inhabited in this world.

He was in Konoha now. The era of the Third Great War loomed on the horizon. And within the academy, one name echoed constantly as the prodigy of the age: Minato Namikaze.

Aizen smiled, and within his eyes appeared that cold glimmer that had once terrified the Soul Society for centuries. He had no interest in the trivial wars between villages, but he had realized one thing: the energy in this world—chakra—was a perfect raw material for manipulation.

"Minato Namikaze… they call you the Yellow Flash?" Aizen adjusted a strand of his hair as he gazed into the mirror. "Good. I will need a long shadow to move beneath… and you shine brightly enough to be my perfect cover."

That very day, Aizen enrolled in the academy. He did not stand out, nor did he display overwhelming brilliance. Instead, he was always "second" after Minato.

The friendly, quiet student who smiled at everyone…

While within his mind, he was laying the very first stone of his new throne.
