Far beyond the stars people usually see at night, there exists a breathtaking place known as the Luminal Galaxy.
It was a galaxy filled with glowing planets, sparkling cosmic dust, and civilizations that thrived under radiant skies. Each planet had its own culture, dreams, and stories waiting to be told.
Among those planets was a peaceful and vibrant place called Cinnamon Country.
Cinnamon Country was known for its warm people, colorful streets, and delicious sweet aromas that floated through the air almost every morning. In the heart of this country stood a lively city called Neode City — a city full of bright lights, music, and endless dreams.
And in this very city lived a girl.
A girl who had a dream bigger than the stars themselves.
Her name was Leonor Nexar.
She was only a teenager, but deep inside her heart lived a quiet dream — a dream of becoming an idol someday. Someone who could stand on a shining stage, sing with all her heart, and bring smiles to people across the galaxy.
But dreams don't always start with shining lights.
Sometimes… they start in the most ordinary places.
Like school.
It was just another normal day at Aurora Crest Academy, the school Nexar attended in Neode City.
Students chatted loudly in the classroom while waiting for their teacher to arrive. Some were talking about games, some about homework, and others were simply laughing with their friends.
At the back of the classroom sat Leonor Nexar.
She quietly flipped through her notebook, not really paying attention to anything around her.
Nexar was an average student. Her grades were fine, not too bad and not too great. She wasn't someone teachers praised often, and she wasn't the kind of student everyone remembered easily.
Her school life simply… passed by.
Day after day.
Without her really knowing what she wanted to do in life.
Suddenly, the classroom door opened.
Their teacher walked in and wrote something on the board.
"Today's Topic: Talent"
The teacher turned around and smiled at the class.
"Alright everyone," she said. "Today, we're going to talk about talents. I want each of you to stand up and tell the class what your talent is."
Immediately, the classroom filled with excitement.
One by one, students stood up.
"I'm good at drawing!"
"I can play the piano!"
"I'm amazing at basketball!"
"I can solve math problems really fast!"
The class clapped and cheered for each student.
Soon, the teacher looked at the attendance sheet.
"Leonor Nexar."
Nexar slowly stood up from her seat.
Every eye in the classroom turned toward her.
She opened her mouth.
But no words came out.
Her mind was completely blank.
Talent?
What… was her talent?
She had never really thought about it before.
The classroom grew quiet.
The teacher waited patiently.
But Nexar still couldn't answer.
Seconds passed.
Then someone from the back of the class laughed.
"Wait… she doesn't even have a talent?"
Another student snickered.
"Seriously? Everyone has something!"
Soon the whole classroom started whispering and laughing.
"That's embarrassing."
"How do you not have a talent?"
Nexar slowly lowered her head.
Her hands clenched tightly.
She wanted to say something.
Anything.
But she couldn't.
Finally, the teacher sighed and looked at the next name.
"Alright… Alexis."
A cheerful girl immediately stood up.
This was Alexis, Nexar's best friend since childhood.
Alexis brushed her hair back confidently and smiled.
"My talent is…" she paused for a moment.
"I'm good at advising people and being a good friend."
For a second, the room was silent.
Then the class burst into laughter again.
"That's not a real talent!"
"What kind of talent is that?"
"No one cares!"
But Alexis didn't seem upset.
She simply glanced at Nexar and gave her a small reassuring smile before sitting down.
The laughter slowly faded as the lesson continued.
But Nexar couldn't focus anymore.
She kept staring at her desk.
8th grade.
And she still didn't know what her talent was.
Or what her purpose in life might be.
Later that day, the lunch bell rang.
Students rushed out of the classroom excitedly, filling the hallways with noise and chatter.
Nexar quietly walked to the school ground and sat on a bench.
Instead of opening her lunch, she simply looked up at the sky.
The sky above Neode City was beautiful — soft blue with streaks of glowing clouds drifting slowly across it.
Somewhere out there, beyond the sky, was the vast Luminal Galaxy.
A galaxy full of dreams.
But Nexar felt like she didn't belong to any of them.
What am I even good at…?
Just then—
Tap!
Someone gently tapped her shoulder.
Nexar turned around.
Alexis stood behind her with a bright smile.
"There you are!" Alexis said. "I've been looking everywhere for you."
Nexar gave a small smile.
"I just wanted some air."
Alexis sat beside her.
"Come on," she said, holding up two lunch boxes. "Let's eat."
The two girls began eating together on the bench.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Then Alexis nudged Nexar lightly.
"Hey," she said softly. "Don't worry about what happened earlier."
Nexar looked down.
"But… everyone was right."
"I don't have any talent."
Alexis immediately shook her head.
"That's not true."
Nexar looked at her.
"We just haven't figured it out yet," Alexis said confidently. "That's all."
She smiled warmly.
"And when we do… we'll figure it out together."
Nexar couldn't help but smile a little.
Alexis had always been like that.
They had been best friends since they were little kids.
Nexar was usually quiet and introverted around most people… but with Alexis, she could be completely herself.
Meanwhile, Alexis was naturally outgoing and energetic.
Despite being different, they balanced each other perfectly.
Just as the two girls continued eating—
A loud announcement echoed through the school speakers.
"Attention students!"
"This is an important announcement regarding the upcoming Aurora Crest Academy School Anniversary!"
Immediately, students around the campus started cheering.
The voice continued.
"All students are requested to participate in at least one event and showcase their talents during the celebration."
"More details will be shared by your teachers."
The announcement ended.
Excited chatter spread across the entire school.
"I'm going to perform music!"
"I'm joining the dance competition!"
"I'm doing the art exhibition!"
Everyone seemed eager to show what they could do.
But on the bench in the school ground…
Nexar and Alexis slowly looked at each other.
Neither of them said anything.
They both knew exactly what the other was thinking.
What were they supposed to do?
Neither of them had a clear talent.
And the anniversary was coming soon.
The two best friends sat there quietly, unsure of what their next step would be.
Little did Nexar know…
This small moment of confusion was the beginning of a journey that would one day shake the entire Luminal Galaxy.
