One of them leaped over a row of cars.

Then it reached the edge of the rooftop.

It landed on the concrete.
Its claws tore into the asphalt.

He rushed into a narrow alley.
Trash containers had been overturned.
Shards of glass glittered across the ground.

But one of the werewolves smashed through a container with a single swipe.
Metal fragments scattered everywhere.

"They're getting closer…"

A werewolf leaped from the wall toward him.
Its claws sliced through the air just centimeters above his head.

But the others were coming too.
Kaelion reached the end of the alley.
An overturned car blocked the road ahead.

Kaelion vaulted over the door.
He stepped on the roof of the car—
Then jumped down on the other side.
The werewolf did the same.
But far more violently.
The car windows exploded.
The metal body collapsed.

One of them was only a few meters behind him.
Its yellow eyes glowed in the darkness.
But then Kaelion saw something else.
Across the street, the entrance to an apartment building stood open.
But in front of the door…
A man lay on the ground.
His body was torn apart.
Blood had spread across the asphalt.

It reached the corridor.

It felt loud enough to be heard from outside.
