Maya's POV
The Sterling estate glowed softly under the moonlight as we made our way along the cobblestone path. My bare feet, still purple from the grape juice, left faint impressions on the cool stones. Sebastian walked beside me, close enough that our arms touched with each step.
I looked down at my once-pristine white dress, now thoroughly stained with deep violet splotches. "Well, this is completely destroyed," I said with a laugh. "I doubt any dry cleaner could salvage this disaster."
Sebastian's eyes swept over me with an appreciative gleam that sent warmth rushing through my veins. "Consider it a badge of honor from Val. Besides, that shade of purple brings out your eyes."
"You think so?" I spun in a playful circle, making the ruined fabric flutter around my legs. "Maybe I should make grape-stained couture my signature look."
