I nestled into the plush cushions of the media room sofa, a massive bowl of buttery popcorn balanced on my lap, replaying Victor's televised interview for what had to be the fourth time today.
Sebastian lounged beside me with his own bowl, and we devoured every moment like it was award-winning entertainment.
"Watch his expression when they bring up the organic certification scandal," Sebastian said, gesturing toward the screen while fighting back laughter.
Victor's discomfort was painfully obvious on television. His hands trembled slightly, and his eyes darted away from the camera's unforgiving lens.
"Moonlight recognizes there were certain... inconsistencies in our certification procedures," I repeated in my best imitation of his strained voice, sending Sebastian into fits of laughter.
