Awoken by the sound of ringing bells.

Aurelion said in his mind, all while still half asleep and half awake.
King Aurelion heavily helps himself get up
from his nap, as he fix his sitting position a young man running towards him.
Aurelion opened his arms and welcomed the boy with a tight hug.
"Father the bells rang didn't you hear?"

Those aren't just bells ringing, it is an alarm for their City which only means one thing.
Doors suddenly opened in his work space,
His Commander of Auror at the front and behind is his wife.
Elysa didn't wait for the Commander of Auror to speak, she walk past and hastily to arms of her husband Aurelion.
Everyone in the room can see in Elysa's eyes they are puffy from crying.
"My King, they have infiltrated the city. All three families have lost the battle."
The Commander of Auror said in a calm voice.
They all fell silent, as they hear all the soldiers and heroes are preparing for the battle.
"Prepare my armor and the sword of Caerus." Aurelion replied
Commander of Auror stepped back took a bow and left the room in haste.
" Elysa my love, you know what to do. Please take care of our child my love."
Aurelion said to his wife and kissed her cheek.
" What do you mean take care of me? I take care of Mother." the boy said.
" Yes my child, you will no doubt take care of your beautiful mother."
Aurelion smiles to his son and patted his head.
" My King, My love…" Sobbing on her knees while Elysa rests her face on Aurelion's arm.
" Remember how much we love each other and if the time will give us a chance again,
I will always choose you."
Aurelion and Elysa spoke together.
"Always."
