[Studying New World]
[Scrutinizing the Creature on the floor.
It would take zero seconds to scrutinize the Creature]
[Scrutinizing has been ordered to begin]
[Scrutinizing completed.
You can now take the body of the human being on the floor with the memories intact!]
[Reminder: Taking ownership of this body would result in some loss of attributes and strength.
Do you want to take the body?]
The last message dropped, and it remained there, meaning the subject was deciding on how to proceed with the message, but the knock at the door came again, and it was twice this time around.
[Order to take ownership of the body has been given.
Taking ownership of the body now.
Time taken for the order to be completed—ten seconds]
Just as the new message appeared, the knock on the door came again, and the handle of the door followed next.
The door opened, and the woman knocking voiced out immediately.
"What are you doing?"
She said it with anger, but her expression calmed down when she saw the male nurse had just closed the container, and he had switched on the fire decimation of the Alien.
"Goodness, Benjamin, I thought the Alien had suddenly woke up."
She said as she took a deep breath.
[Forceful Progression of order was used. Some attributes of this body are still processing.
It would take approximately one minute before you will be able to move on the body, and it will take a longer minute for you to gain access to the memories of the body]
[Unlocking of body memory will taken an hour.]
There was a big frown on Benjamin face when he saw the message in front of him.
"You never can tell if he did."
Benjamin said while still facing the container. The female nurse, Elizabeth, chuckled as she stepped inside the decimated room.
"If it did you would have been dead on the floor already. We still don't know what that thing is capable of doing."
She said as she entered the decimated room. Her eyes were on the floor as she entered, and there wasn't a single trail of blood on the floor or any sign of anything happening. It was all clean like it had always been.
Elizabeth continued as she entered.
"I have never seen an alien before, yet it wasn't surprising that one has been lying dead in Antarctica all along. But I wonder how long that monster has been right on our nose. What was the cause of his death, and how did he even enter our airspace without us even knowing."
Elizabethsaid as she went to a corner of the decimated room to wash her hands. As she washed her hands, she voiced out again.
"I wonder if we keep digging if we find many of his kind down there. Maybe it's a tribe of Alien down there.
If that is the case then the theory of earth being occupied by Alien before will be true, but what could be the reason for their extinction.
Could it be the air suddenly became uninhabitable for them?
What if we come from them? Perhaps they had to make sacrifices.
Maybe they somehow were able to create us and transfer themselves into us, but something happened and they lost their memory; that is why we don't remember anything from the beginning of our time."
Elizabeth finished washing her hands and turned to face Benjamin. She was waiting for Benjamin to say something all this while but Benjamin just remained silent like he wasn't in the room.
"What do you think, Benjamin? What's your take on this new discovery?"
Elizabeth said as she folded her hands across her chest. Benjamin was silent for a while before he turned to face Elizabeth.
"They wouldn't destroy their lab would they. If they truly created us, we would've known. There is no such thing as aliens creating humans; that is just straight out of an author having a nightmare."
Benjamin turned off the decimation button in the container at that moment. Without turning to face Elizabeth again, he approached the exit of the decimated room.
Elizabeth found Benjamin stance a bit surprising, but she shook the thought away and followed him out of the room after scanning the room with her eyes once more.
"You never can tell, honestly. I still can't believe we just discovered that Alien truly exists. That means there could be thousands of them over there in space.
I wonder how this one came to Earth. How come we weren't able to track him on our surface, or could it be he came long before technology came around."
Elizabeth said as she placed her hand on her chin as she thought about it. Benjamin didn't pay her any attention. It was obvious that he didn't want to talk about it, and Elizabeth couldn't help but stop talking.
They both came out, and Benjamin locked the door.
"I should get going now. I have many work to catch up on at home."
Benjamin said as he was about to take another way from the one Elizabeth was going to take.
"Where do you think you are going to?"
Elizabeth couldn't help but asked. She wondered if they have been given the permission to go home or not, according to the head of the medical department, they wouldn't be allowed to go home until they have a breakthrough on the sample they collected from the Alien body parts.
If they don't achieve a breakthrough in something. The military will never let us go home.
Benjamin could tell that he had said something wrong. His attention moved to the time it would take to recover Benjamin memories, and there were still many minutes remaining.
"I guess we should hurry with it."
Benjamin responded with a straight face. Elizabeth just looked at Benjamin, wondering what had come over him. She didn't know he was this much of a shy person, and this handsome as well.
He wasn't this handsome a while ago.
Elizabeth stared at Benjamin for a little while before she turned to face the assessment room direction.
"Yeah, It's going to be a long ride for us honestly, we better just put our heads together and see what we can find before the day runs out."
She said as she casually walked in the direction of the assessment room. Benjamin casually followed her from behind. He didn't know his way around because he hadn't recovered the previous Benjamin memory yet, and that was because he forcefully took control of the body.
Now he would have to wait for one hour before he would be able to access the previous Benjamin memories and other human functions as well. The last thing he wanted was to be acting differently after an alien had just been disposed of.
Benjamin and Elizabeth entered the assessment room. The boss of the medical team was giving out a speech.
"In case you don't know the magnitude of what we just discovered, it could rewrite all our history books. Change how we will approach the future in the next hundred years, and our biology will change us This could make us become rich, easily billionaires if we all play our cards right."
He looked at the eyes of everyone, including Benjamin and Elizabeth before continuing.
"I don't know about you, but I am already counting myself lucky for the big discovery we are going to make once we start studying all the body parts we collected from the alien.
Perhaps we might discover a form of medicine that could cure all sickness or maybe learn how to prolong our lifespan to a thousand years or even more.
Anything is possible if we study it well."
The boss raised his voice as he continued.
"So I am urging every one of you here. Study all the materials I will be sending your way as if your life depends on it. Make sure nothing goes unnoticed, and if you find anything strange. Send it to me right away!"
"Nobody sleeps until we discover something!"
The boss said as he walked away from the room.
Everyone stood up from their sit and went to the laboratory room. All the different parts of the alien body they collected were all over several tables in the laboratory.
Benjamin glanced at each of them and couldn't help but shake his head in a bit of disappointment.
All they have collected was the skin armor that protect his main body. Although the armor was made of flesh, it wasn't part of his body, and soon it would turn into rotten sand.
That will be the end of the discovery for sure because it will literally become a plain sand with no valuable substance worth studying in it.
If they had kept his body they would've been able to make one or two discovery but even those discovery will take a hundred years given the kind of equipments he was seeing here.
This world was extremely underdeveloped. Compared to his world. This world was a hundred years back.
Just then somebody threw a spoon at Benjamin to get his attention. It was evident that he had been trying to talk to Benjamin, but Benjamin was busy with his thoughts.
As Benjamin turned to the direction the spoon came from. Everyone was looking at him, he was the only person who haven't answered the question yet.
Seeing Benjamin was back on track, the fat male doctor voiced out once more.
"What do you think about this Surface of an Alien? Do you think earth is about to be invaded by some kind mysterious Alien ships."
Without waiting for a second to digest the words. Benjamin responded with a calm but threatening voice.
"There is an apocalypse coming and the only way out is for the people of earth to run away.
To find another planet, earth has been marked doom."
