Not long after, I heard a scream echoing from the city—I knew my sister had returned home.
"Younaass… Younaass…"
Nawa had come with me to the house. I wasn't surprised by his timing; the world is truly a small village.
Younes: Albert, Nawa, what honor brings you to our house today?
Nawa: I was just passing by and ran into Yasmine. I wanted to make sure she got home safely.
Younes: I see… you may come in, then.
Nawa: Of course… I also have something I wanted to discuss with you.
We went to the living room and asked Samir to prepare tea, and Nawa began:
Nawa: As you know, there's a party hosted by the wealthy families in the city. Additionally, there will be a competition for the heirs—the children. I decided to tell you in case you want to participate.
Younes: As much as I like that idea, I doubt I'm welcome at that party. The last thing those families want is for me to be there.
Nawa: I disagree. I suggested hosting the party in your mansion, and the majority approved. You will be more than welcome—you are the owner of the mansion, after all!
Younes: But…
Nawa: Don't worry. All the party expenses have been agreed upon beforehand, and we'll cover them. Consider your hosting done through our invitation.
Younes: With your insistence… I guess I can't refuse. Fine, tell me the details later.
Nawa: I'll send you a message with the date. We'll also send the arrangements with our servant. Yasmine is probably asleep now—please give her my regards when she wakes.
I went to my room to rest and began thinking about the competition. Do I need to prepare? I don't even know if it will be related to business management, history, or something else. For the first time, I decided to take the competition seriously. Nothing excites me more than seeing the frustration on their faces. I headed to the library to browse books and expand my knowledge.
