Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 : The Wave of Births

The birthing stage began for the other girls after Rin. Only days passed before Hina felt the labor pains. The process went similarly to Rin's birth; Dan held her hand, sent his chakra to ensure her body's stability, and the girls helped as midwives. After hours of pain, Hina gave birth to her first child—a small girl.

When Dan looked at the newborn, he noticed the same features: strands of sky-blue hair and clear blue eyes, exactly like his first child, Sam. Then Dan understood something important: most of his offspring would likely inherit this appearance. The hair and eyes were definitely inherited, but as for his Kekkei Genkai—the superhuman chakra control and massive reserves—they might need to awaken it later with time and sufficient training. Or perhaps some would inherit it directly, while others never would in their entire lives. Only time would tell.

When Hina realized she had given birth to a girl, she felt slight disappointment and fear. It was clear on her face. Society at this time prefers boys over girls; boys are considered more valuable, carry the family name, and become warriors. Girls, despite their importance, were considered slightly less. Hina feared that Dan would be dissatisfied and prefer boys.

But Dan showed no annoyance. On the contrary, he was happy and treated the girl with the same love and attention he gave Sam. He took her in his hands, looked at her with his calm blue eyes, and smiled a slight smile. "Welcome to the family, my little one." Hina settled and felt relieved seeing his reaction. He didn't differentiate between boys and girls; they were all his children, and all were important. Despite her relief, Hina resolved in her heart to bear him a son later. She wanted to give him males too, not just to satisfy tradition, but also to prove herself.

Dan named his first daughter Sophia Walt. It was a beautiful, strong name from his original world. "Sophia Walt," he whispered the name gently while carrying the child. Hina admired the name upon hearing it and smiled despite her exhaustion.

Time passed, and Dan was busy with his training as usual, but he spent some time with his children too. He would come every evening, carry Sam or Sophia, watch them, and talk to them quietly even though they didn't understand yet. It was a new experience, strange to him but enjoyable in a way.

Shortly after, labor came for the next girl, Nanami. She was a quiet, shy girl, but strong when necessary. After hours of labor, she also gave birth to a girl. Blue hair, blue eyes—as usual. The same happened with Nanami: a slight fear of having a girl and anxiety over Dan's reaction. But he reassured her, treating her with the same kindness and attention. Dan named his daughter Amy Walt—a simple, beautiful name, easy to pronounce. Nanami smiled with relief when she saw his joy with the child.

Then the girls entered a period of consecutive births, as if the floodgates had opened all at once. Every few days, one of the wives would begin labor. His next wife, Aoi, gave birth to his fourth child, and this time, it was a boy. Aoi was very proud and happy that she gave Dan a son. Dan looked at the child—at the blue hair and blue eyes. Strong, crying loudly, and full of life. Dan named him Leon Walt, a name carrying the meaning of strength and courage. "Leon. Grow up strong, my little one."

Then his next wife, Yuna, gave birth to another girl. This time, Dan decided to give her a Japanese name. He had used names from his original world so far, but he wanted to diversify a bit. He named her Hoshi, which means "Star" in Japanese—a beautiful name suitable for a small girl with blue hair shining under the light. Yuna was happy with the name and loved it very much.

She was followed by his wife Shizuka, who also gave birth to a girl. Shizuka is slightly older among the wives, the most quiet and wise. She gave birth to her child relatively easily, without many complications. Dan named her Nina Walt—a simple, gentle name, easy to remember. Shizuka smiled while carrying Nina, grateful and happy.

After Nina's birth, things settled a bit. There were six children now in the camp: Sam, Sophia, Amy, Leon, Hoshi, and Nina. Six small children, all with blue hair and blue eyes, all carrying the Walt family name. The remaining three pregnant girls still had a period of a month or longer before their labor would come. Thus, there was a temporary break before the second wave of births.

During this period, Dan watched his children carefully, thinking about how to raise them and their growth plan; he would undoubtedly train them himself. He would ensure they became very strong to protect themselves and the Walt family in this dangerous world. Recently, life in the camp changed a lot. The sounds of children crying fill the air, and the girls were always busy caring for the little ones. But despite the chaos, there was warmth—a sense of family, belonging, and life.

Dan himself was slightly overwhelmed by this atmosphere. Every evening, he comes to see the children, carrying each one for a few minutes. Rin, Hina, Nanami, and the others watched him happily. Seeing him with the children showed a gentle side they weren't used to seeing in his cold personality. They were falling in love with him more, feeling greater gratitude that he chose them and that they became part of his family.

One evening, while Dan was carrying Leon, Rin asked him a bit boldly, "Dan... are you happy?" He looked at her, then at Leon in his arms. He went silent for a moment, thinking, then nodded his head slowly. "Yes. I am happy." It was a simple answer, but it was honest. Rin smiled a wide smile; this was the first time Dan expressed his feelings so clearly, and it meant a lot to her.

That night, he thought about his life and all that had happened since he moved to this world. Years of isolation, training, and the search for power—and now, he suddenly has a family: wives, children, and a real life. Dan smiled a slight smile. "The future..." he whispered quietly. "The future looks bright." He closed the window and went to sleep. Tomorrow, training would continue. After a month, the second wave of births would begin. Life would continue, evolve, and grow—step by step, toward the future.
