Chapter 1 - Predator's view

Spiders, like other predators, don't make traps. Their life is like an artist who is in love with their work and built a beautiful work of art—a web! Slowly, patiently, with all their being. They don't select a prey; it is the prey who are destined to fall into the gaps of delicate-looking art, which become a death sentence to them. Then again, war, blood, pain, and death are just hollow until words convert into the piece of art and give them a soul. It's still as much dark and hollow, but it's an art now. Art is not supposed to be beautiful; it's just supposed to make you feel something.

Is a spider always aware of its power? or just make art?

Anyway, we can't find out if it's planned, just a coincidence, or just destiny. Some may want to collect all the evidence; some may look at the big picture; some may connect dots, but everyone who tries gets their own conclusion, but who is right anyways, and who wants to know that?

Cassian Draven was the man of power. He was born lucky. We can say that he has all the powers one dreams of as being born as destined to be the next head of the power controlling the world through background. People whisper about societies, but no one does anything. It was better in the old days; people are what? But just figures and a waste of resources. So they start thinking of themselves as above other creatures. Some people may think hierarchy is installed by rich society, but it began when humans began to think that they are better than animals; then they wanted to be better than the same species in strength and wealth and all other scales they built. Then from human first to royalty first to rich first. Money, people say, is the cause of all greed, but no! It's humans who choose it. Money is just a standard, an illusion like everything the herd is living in. And they reached a point of no return without knowing. From time to time they do decide to find out, but only some. At first the free media and then social media seem like a threat to the secret society, but no, the constant consumption of all those things makes them insensitive, and most of them don't care. In both case they understand they are too weak to do anything.

Just give them food and a circus. They will not revolt. But society is head of all, not their guardian angels to care about their pathetic lives; anyways, they are just numbers. Cassian understands it before he starts to eat solid food. They call him the devil's reincarnation, and he knows that Lucifer was just a fallen angel; his only fault was to question authority, but Cassian was "the authority." He doesn't need to take anyone's approval for it. What type of authority it is. If you need someone's permission, pathetic! Too humane!

And Cassian hates to be human. There was only one thing between him and him gaining all his true power. Destiny, or a wannabe god, maybe thinks they can control him. But he is smarter than anything. What is right and what's wrong? Who defines it? Well, of course, the one with enough power or the one who can pay its price. And the one above all can have it without price. When he was declared destined to have all powers—time, space, magical being, life, and death itself. It is also predicted he can call when he finds his lotus.
