Adrian had caught a lot of silver horned rabbits. He was near the house when Arthur came flying through one of the walls and landing near him.
Arthur was badly injured and fatally wounded. It seemed like he was just tethering on the edge between life and death.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU FATHER!!! TELL ME! WHO DID THIS"
Adrian was furious. Seeing Arthur in such a state made his blood boil. He rushed towards the house. Suddenly a huge ray of light appeared from inside the house and then vanished. That's when Adrian realised that the mysterious magic power from earlier was gone and so was his mother.
Adrian was in a panic. His emotions were in disarray causing him to let his demonic aura flare. First, he saw his father's life hanging on the edge, now his mom has been taken away by some mysterious people.
But he quickly calmed himself and rushed to his father's side trying to stop the bleeding.
" Listen to me Adrian. I don't have much time left. So listen carefully."
" Shut-up father!! You're too weak to say anything. And stop talking like that! You're not dying. Let's go find mom. I won't let you di-"
"Adrian, listen, this isn't the time to be emotional. There's no way I'll be healed. Your mother was taken by demons. The only person that can save her is your father."
" W-What do you mean? You're my father "
" No!! I helped your mother raise you. I'm not your real father "
" What are you—"
" Listen closely Adrian. Your father's whereabouts have been unknown for over ten years. Take this brooch. It will guide you to the house of a friend of mine. He'll take care of you till you turn sixteen. You'll need to get into Eldoria Imperial Academy. There you can find clues about your father's whereabouts. His name is Collins Gray. People normally know him as the Calamity of Darkness. You need to find your mother.
And don't forget what we thought you; Don't be proud, don't be too emotional or rash and most importantly, use your powers to protect. Remember, I'll always be watching you and protecting you. I wanted to be here when you made your first friend and get a girlfriend. Too bad."
At that moment, Arthur took his final breath. Adrian watched the light fade from his father's eyes. He was gone. Adrian was now alone. He then let out a loud cry of agony that echoed through the whole forest.
