In the far eastern kingdom of Lunara, where mist curled around jade mountains and lanterns glowed like fallen stars, lived a young woman named Mei Lin. She was known not for her beauty, but for her quiet strength and calm eyes that reflected ancient wisdom beyond her years.
Mei Lin was the last guardian of the Jade Seal, a sacred stone said to hold the breath of the Eastern Sky Dragon. The seal kept balance between the human world and the spirit realm. If it ever broke, shadows would flood the land.
One night, the moon turned crimson. The wind whispered warnings through the bamboo forest. Mei Lin felt the Jade Seal grow warm in her hands—it was calling her.
She wrapped herself in her silk battle robe, embroidered with cloud and phoenix patterns, and began her journey toward the Celestial Pass, where the barrier between worlds was weakest. Along the way, spirits tested her—not with weapons, but with fear and doubt. Each time, she stood firm, remembering her grandmother's words:

At the pass, a dark serpent spirit rose, born of anger and imbalance. The mountains trembled. Instead of striking, Mei Lin pressed the Jade Seal to her heart and sang the ancient chant of balance. Her voice flowed like a river—soft, steady, unstoppable.
The serpent dissolved into light. The sky cleared. The moon returned to silver.
