Novarion stepped into the depths of the dark cavern The air was cold and damp as if the walls themselves were breathing The echo of his footsteps rang between the jagged rocks when suddenly a strange roar erupted making his heart race Out of the shadows emerged a colossal spider Its body covered in thick black bristles glistened under the faint light of the phosphorescent mushrooms clinging to the walls

The spider screeched a sound so piercing it shook the cavern causing loose rocks to tumble from the ceiling It unleashed thick white webs like arrows aiming to bind him Novarion tried to maneuver but the silk snared his leg Before he could cut himself free the spider lunged with its razor sharp claws
Damn it Novarion hissed through gritted teeth as he felt the claws pierce his brittle leather armor Suddenly a cold sting spread through his veins the beast had injected him with venom His body began to tremble his knees buckling against his will His vision blurred his eyelids growing heavy as if being forced shut
Useless system he spat in rage struggling against the collapse clinging to the sword that now felt as heavy as a mountain
But then a glowing screen flickered before his eyes

Later Novarion pushed open the heavy doors of the Hunters Guild The usual clamor of mercenaries filled the hall He walked calmly toward the counter and dropped his trophies a goblins tusk a charred bone from a skeleton and the massive claw of the Spider Queen
The clerk raised his head lazily at first but when his eyes fell on the loot he froze His eyes widened in shock his fingers trembling as he reached out to verify what he was seeing

The hall went silent Whispers began to ripple through the crowd Some hunters looked on in disbelief while others stared with a mixture of awe and envy Within moments a staff member approached requesting Novarion to follow him immediately to the Guild Masters office
Inside the spacious office sat a powerful man with a thick grey beard and sharp piercing eyes The atmosphere was heavy with authority
Impressive the Master said his voice grave To clear a dungeon solo as a mere novice
Novarion smiled faintly It wasnt easy

He slid a heavy pouch across the desk And this is your reward 500 gold coins a gift from the Guild
