Synopsis
The story did not originate from a single land, but rather scattered across far-off territories The Northern Kingdom covered in snow and ancient chants The Desert City under the sun that believes in the prophecy of sand The Coastal City-State that worships the stars and the science of tides The deep forest where people still converse with the spirits of nature Different cultures, different languages, different faiths Yet in the depths of every land… the same thing flows “Desire” mage yearning for power former elegant scholar from the Magic Academy, who once stood amidst the applause and the candles of honor He is the one who chose to turn his back on glory And stepped into the melody of death with a smile that no one understood To grasp forbidden knowledge He allowed his body to tremble against the power that humans should not touch Allowed his veins to burst into black patterns beneath his skin Willingly traded fame, honor, and even parts of his humanity Because he believed that those different worlds Are tied together by “Weakness” And he will be the one to destroy it From the shadows of the abandoned tower From the ruined temple in the middle of the desert From the nameless harbor From the deep forest recorded on no map People broken from society The outcasts, the lost, those who hate the world Are drawn toward him like moths to a flame And finally The dark power group that gathered fragments of despair from every land Was born They call themselves “The Broken Servants” Not because they are weak But because once they were broken And chose to never go back to being the same again

Chapter 1 - beginning

In a city, the atmosphere was bustling Carts and horse-drawn carriages slowly moved toward the city gate Both nobles and

commoners took turns walking up to request permission from the soldiers to enter the city

Cale a cold looking young man wearing a dark blue coat a purple scarf and a handsome fake mustache stood with his arms crossed beside a carriage that clearly did not belong to him He smiled at the young women passing by but their eyes were reluctant to look back

An old man dressed like a wealthy tycoon walked up with a dissatisfied expression

"Hmm? Are you trying to steal things from my carriage?"

Cale flinched. He raised his hand to cover his face as if he didn't want the old man to get close, then quickly explained

"N no, sir. I'm just... just standing here"

The old man looked very angry

"What did you say?"

He looked at the items in the carriage for a moment while Cale began to feel uneasy

Suddenly, Cale took the opportunity to run away. The old man turned around quickly

"Wait a minute!?!!"

Cale stopped, his left hand gripping a wall. He ran until he was panting, his right hand clutching his chest where his heart was beating fast

"Damn it... just got here for the first time and already got misunderstood..."

Cale looked around and saw a teenage girl with black hair tied in a low ponytail, wearing Victorian-style clothing a brown cloak and a dark blue skirt. She looked unusual in the eyes of those around her. She was talking to the gate guards Beside her, a number of people sat on the ground with disappointed faces

Cale went to sit beside the group. Everyone stared at him

"What are you all sitting here for?"

No one answered. Everyone pointed at the young woman who was talking to the soldier

"I'm sorry, no"

The young woman tried her best to plead. She acted cute toward the soldier. Cale watched with surprise

"Please, please..."

The soldier holding a spear and sword remained indifferent, ignoring her completely

Cale muttered

"Is she crazy... isn't she afraid of the soldiers at all..."

The group beside him looked at the girl with expectation

She acted slightly seductive, hands behind her back, tilting her head and smiling at the soldier

The soldier spoke firmly

"You cannot enter. It is the rule. Empty-handed travelers without a carriage are not allowed"

Suddenly, he caught sight of a diamond necklace on her chest His hardened heart seemed to waver She lightly brushed her hand past the soldier's face

"Oh... what's wrong?"

she said gently The soldier stood still. She walked through into the city cheerfully

Everyone was stunned, including Cale

"Wow... My God... how did she do that!?"

plump man with a small beard sitting next to him smiled craftily

"You should give it a try..."

Cale walked up to the soldier

"I am from Jeprao... a wanderer"

The soldier looked him over from head to toe

"If you want to enter the city, go north another 31 miles. This is a middle-class district for the safety of the capital"

Cale tried to plead but was unsuccessful

"Get lost, you vagrants! "

He lowered his head and walked back

Suddenly, a horse-drawn carriage drove in. It was the same old man

"Hey, young man! Sorry, I thought you were a thief"

He smiled

"Thanks for watching my things while I was drunk..."

He signaled for Cale to get on the carriage

The carriage sped through the city gate. The soldiers were shocked but could do nothing

Cale smiled mockingly and stuck his tongue out at them

After passing far beyond the city gate, Cale asked

"Why didn't the soldiers follow us?"

The old man replied

"We did nothing wrong. They are the ones using the route to make money"

"Where are you going? Shall I take you there?"

Cale smiled

"I'm just traveling around, buying food and selling herbs"

The carriage moved through a vast grassland of beautiful nature

The old man said

"Avesilen is a special land, over 2,000,000 square miles. This is just the outer edge..."

Cale was excited, taking a deep breath

Later, they picked up the girl in Victorian dress onto the carriage

"My name is Cale. Nice to meet you"

She replied

"My name is Mira Casbrian. Nice to meet you too"

Both of them fell asleep in the carriage

The afternoon atmosphere over the wide fields, the wind blowing continuously, as if time never stopped moving

To be continued...
