Ch 1
In a quiet village surrounded by green fields, there lived a poor boy named Arif. Every night, he would lie on the roof of his small house and look at the stars.
Arif had a big dream — he wanted to become a teacher. But his family was very poor, and many people told him, "Dreams are not for boys like you."
Still, Arif never stopped believing. He studied under the streetlight because his house had no electricity. When it rained, he protected his books with plastic and continued reading.
One night, while looking at the sky, he saw a bright little star shining more than the others. He whispered,
Ai tar bangla ki
"One day, I will shine like you."
Years passed. Arif worked hard, faced many difficulties, but never gave up. Finally, he became a teacher in his own village school.
On his first day at school, he looked at his students and smiled. He realized something important —
The little star he used to admire was not in the sky.
It was inside him all along.
