DYLAN'S POV:
The presentation was a success as I stepped out of the meeting room,but still hoping in my heart that the marketing director Mr Daniel's won't tell my older brother Austin about my late coming today cause he would be giving me an earful if he hears about it.
I stepped into my brothers office I was surprised to see the place empty with no sight of my brother,I slumped on the couch my head cocked back as I closed my Eyes going into my thoughts.
I had dosed of on the couch without realizing it,I woke up to the sound of the door opening.I quickly sat up looking like I didn't just dose of in my brothers office, Austin walked in wearing a black suit and a red tie to bring out the whole outfit,he glanced at my direction raising an eye brow "Aren't you supposed to be carrying out your duties as my secretary"
I looked at him annoyed by his cold tone "I'm tired okay ,do you know how exhausting it was to do that presentation" he rolled his Eyes at me placing his hand on his face technically pissed by me but I didn't care I was the cheeky younger after all "Your job as my secretary is only temporary anyway"He said sitting in his chair,I as well stubbornly slumped back on the couch.
Austin arranged a few files before opening his drawer and placing the inside,he looked my way almost immediately like he just remembered something serious "So I heard you were late to the meeting today" I instantly flinched at his words (Mr Daniel that snity)"Um no" I said awkwardly fidgeting my fingers " Austin glared at me making me turn my head away to avoid his cold gaze "You can't lie your way out of it Dylan" he sighed before getting comfortable in his chair "Just be more alert next time" Surprisingly he didn't scold me or make a fuss about it"okay I will keep that in mind ".....
