On the Fifth Training Ground in Konoha, a beautiful female ninja stood at the center, arms crossed over her chest, eyes closed, fully immersed in her training.
Her long golden hair was tied high into a ponytail, and she wore a white cropped top and a short red skirt, layered over ninja-style fishnet. The outfit was simple, yet it accentuated her beauty and presence.
But the three small rogues lying in ambush around her weren't there to admire the scenery.
The ninja had been standing there for a long while. Just as she was about to lose patience and strike first, several kunai rigged with explosive tags came flying from her left rear.
Upon closer observation, their shadows seemed connected by thin black threads. She sidestepped smoothly, only for the kunai to split off, aiming at her head, chest, abdomen, and legs.
"Shadow Binding Technique of the Nara clan? But it shouldn't be able to injure me this severely," she murmured.
She lightly stomped her foot, and a wall of earth erupted from the ground, blocking the incoming kunai. The kunai exploded upon impact, sending dust and smoke swirling around, obscuring her vision.
From the haze, a muscular figure descended from above.
"Partial Multiplication Technique!" Akimichi Genbu, still suspended in the air, formed hand seals as his right arm and hand expanded dozens of times their normal size and smashed into the smoke.
Sensing the threat from above, the female ninja extended a single finger upward, effortlessly blocking the colossal fist.
Before she could deflect it entirely, a shadow crept in from the side, almost hitting her. With a swift teleportation technique, she leapt out of the smoke, evading the attack.
"Tch, your observation skills are impressive," she noted coolly.
From the darkness, the caster felt helpless.
Seeing his companion's attack fail, Akimichi Genbu landed and formed seals once more, enlarging his body several times over. "Human Bomb Tank."
He transformed into a high-speed spinning wheel and charged toward her. She extended her jade-like arm and collided with the rolling tank, stopping its assault while revealing Genbu's figure.
"Truly the super princess of Konoha… with such strength, a frontal breakthrough is almost impossible," Genbu thought to himself.
Crossing his hands, Genbu touched her palm. She linked her thumb and forefinger and flicked him away, sending him flying in the same direction he had attacked her.
However, she hadn't noticed that his shadow was linked to another ninja's shadow. Genbu stopped a few meters away, but the connected black shadow whirled toward her like a yo-yo.
At the same time, Genbu quickly formed six hand seals—Shi, Bi, Shen, Hai, Wu, Yin—within 1.3 seconds. "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
A massive three-meter fireball shot toward her face at incredible speed. Yet she showed no fear; admiration shone in her eyes.
"The Ino-Shika-Cho trio this year is impressive. That Akimichi boy's seal speed… can he really be just 15? Let's see what I can do."
Instead of dodging, she brought her fingers together and smashed the fireball mid-air, obliterating it.
Her solution was typical of her style—confident and precise—but she didn't notice Genbu's next move. After releasing the fireball, he paused for two seconds before summoning dozens of kunai from a seal in his left hand, creating a time gap for the attack.
Still in her striking stance, she froze for a moment and leapt aside. But Genbu yanked the kunai with both hands, sending them flying again, all connected by fine steel wires.
The female ninja hadn't expected a low-level ninja to master techniques resembling the Uchiha clan's shuriken manipulation. Controlling so many kunai simultaneously with perfect precision was no small feat—it usually required the Sharingan or Byakugan.
Meanwhile, she was still mid-air, suddenly struck and flung like a hedgehog, only for the "hedgehog" to transform into a tree stump as she reappeared at the opposite side of the training ground.
Thankfully, she was a jōnin-level ninja with extraordinary strength. Any other jonin or even a special jonin might have been killed on the spot.
She admitted she had underestimated the small rogues. Otherwise, she wouldn't have punched the fireball and posed coolly without immediately retracting her strength.
Before she could regain her footing, Nara Kiyomizu's technique activated: "Earth Release: Heart Severing Technique."
A hand suddenly erupted from beneath her, attempting to drag her underground, threatening the bell on her waist.
But she was clearly stronger. She lifted her foot effortlessly, yanking Kiyomizu out, and struck him in the abdomen.
