The Next Day – University Campus
Jay walked into the classroom with Mia and Ben. Today was the first day they would meet all the students from the Philippine college.
The room was full. On one side sat a group of boys. They were loud and funny. Section E.
Jay spotted Keifer sitting with them. He looked cold as always.
Mr. Alvin Siongco stood at the front. "Welcome, everyone! Our guests from New York are here. Please introduce yourselves."
One by one, the Section E boys stood up.
"Hi! I'm Ci-N. I'm funny and childish. I love pranks!" Ci-N waved at Jay.
Jay laughed. He seemed nice.
"I'm Calix. " Calix smiled.
"I'm David. I have good predictions. I predict you will like it here." David said calmly.
"I'm John Felix. I play basketball with Keifer." He waved.
"I'm Eman. I'm a great chef. I'll cook for you." Eman grinned.
"I'm Drew. I like to bet. Any bets on who will fall in love first?" Drew looked at Jay and Keifer.
Everyone laughed. Keifer glared.
"I'm Edrix. I'm a hacker. Be nice to me." Edrix said.
"I'm Eren. I have too many girlfriends." Eren shrugged.
"I'm Mayo. I'm gay. This is my boyfriend, Kit." Mayo pointed to Kit.
"Hi! I'm Kit." Kit waved.
"I'm Rory. I hack with Edrix." Rory said.
"I'm Denzel." Denzel looked.
"I'm Josh. I'm quiet." Josh said softly.
"I'm Blaster. I make music." Blaster said.
Then the girls from Section A came in.
"I'm Freya. I'm a baddie. Don't mess with me." Freya said rudely.
Jay just roled her eyes. She didn't like her energy.
"I'm Rakki. Hi Jay! Ci-N is annoying but I like you already." Rakki smiled.
Jay smiled back. "I like you too."
"I'm Grace.
"I'm Mica. I'm nice. " Mica said.
Jay nodded.
After Class
Keifer walked up to Jay. He looked annoyed.
"You talk too much," he said coldly. "You promised to help everyone. That's stupid."
Jay raised an eyebrow. "And you're too cold. That's also stupid."
He glared. She glared back.
Mia whispered to Ben, "They're already fighting. This is great."
Percy watched from the side. He was ready to jump in if Keifer was mean to his sister.
But then Keifer did something weird. He leaned closer to Jay. His face was very close to hers.
"You know," he said softly. "For someone who talks too much, you have a pretty smile."
Jay's face turned red. "W-what?"
Keifer smirked. Then he walked away.
Jay stood there, shocked. Did he just... flirt with her?
Ci-N ran up to her. "Oh my god! Keifer NEVER flirts! He likes you!"
Drew yelled, "I bet 1000 pesos they fall in love!"
Eren laughed. "I bet 2000 they kiss before the project ends!"
Mayo and Kit high-fived. "Jayfer! Jayfer! Jayfer!" they chanted.
Jay's face was bright red. "Stop it! I hate him! He's annoying!"
But deep down, her heart was beating fast.
Mia patted her back. "Sure, Jay. You 'hate' him."
Ben laughed. "This is going to be fun to watch."
Percy watched Keifer walk away. His best friend just flirted with his little sister. He didn't know if he should be happy or angry.
Aries stood beside him. "Don't worry. If he hurts her, we kill him together."
Percy nodded. "Deal."
But they both knew. This hate was going to turn into love very soon.
