Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – The Sky That Should Not Open

The rain did not fall.

It hung in the air.

Each droplet frozen like crystal beads suspended between heaven and earth.

Saisagar's breath trembled in the silence.

The streetlight above him flickered once… then stopped mid-flicker.

No sound.

No wind.

No movement.

Only him.

"I'm… dreaming."

He reached out.

His fingers brushed a raindrop.

It did not burst.

Instead—

It burned.

A spark of red light ignited inside the droplet.

Then another.

Then hundreds.

The frozen rain began glowing.

Red.

Blue.

Green.

Brown.

Gold.

Five lights.

The sky cracked.

Not with thunder—

But with something deeper.

A tearing sound.

As if reality itself had been sliced open.

A rift formed above the clouds.

And from that wound in the sky…

Five streaks of elemental light descended.

🔥 Fire — blazing like a miniature sun.🌊 Water — flowing in mid-air like a living serpent.🌪 Wind — spiraling with razor whispers.🌍 Earth — heavy, ancient, unmoving.⚡ And something else.

Dark.

Not black.

Not shadow.

It swallowed light.

Void.

Saisagar tried to move.

He couldn't.

The lights circled him.

Faster.

Faster.

Faster—

Then they struck.

Pain exploded through his body.

He screamed—

But no sound came out.

Memories that weren't his flooded his mind.

Ancient wars.

Elemental kings.

A throne floating in endless darkness.

And a voice.

Deep.

Cold.

Unfathomable.

"Five were chosen.Four were meant. One is forbidden."

The Void light entered his chest.

The other four followed.

His veins glowed.

His heart pounded like thunder.

Then—

The world restarted.

Rain crashed down violently.

Sound returned.

Cars honked.

Distant people shouted.

Everything normal.

Except—

Saisagar fell to his knees.

Steam rose from his skin.

His eyes flickered between five colors.

Then settled into something deeper.

Something unnatural.

For a moment—

The shadow beneath him moved.

Not with the rain.

Not with the light.

But on its own.

And far above, hidden beyond mortal sight—

Something ancient opened its eyes.

And smiled.
