Chapter 77 - Volume 4 – Chapter 11: Khan Sahib – The Thunder God’s Shadow

Khan Sahib stepped through a rift that smelled of ozone, wet concrete, and the faint metallic tang of Mjolnir striking steel. He emerged on a rooftop in New York City during a thunderstorm—rain lashing sideways, lightning forking across a sky the color of bruised iron. The Eternal Watch pulsed green-gold.

Thor landed in front of him—hammer crackling, cape snapping in the wind.

"Mortal," Thor rumbled, "you carry the scent of another realm. And the weight of many tales. Speak."

Khan Sahib met the god's gaze—unafraid.

"I am Khan Sahib. Father of a bridge-builder. I died under a mango tree. The Watcher gave me a second life to carry stories. This city—and your realm—has a wound. Shadows that forget what light is."

Thor's eyes narrowed.

"The All-Father spoke of a bridge between worlds. Of a man who wields no weapon but stories. You are he."

Khan Sahib nodded.

"And you are the thunder that protects. I have heard your name in my son's tales."

A crack of thunder—unnatural. A rift tore open above them—Riftborn storm giants, twisted echoes of Frost Giants fused with void-energy, roaring with stolen lightning.

Thor grinned—wild, joyful.

"Then let us fight side by side, Storykeeper!"

Khan Sahib tapped the Watch.

Story Echo Activated: Bulleh Shah – "Bulleh ki jaana main kaun?"

Effect: 45-second questioning vortex – enemies doubt their own power

The giants hesitated—lightning flickering uncertainly.

Thor swung Mjolnir—thunderclap shattering the first giant.

Khan Sahib recited Farid—longing turned to storm:

"Mera ishq vi tu, mera jahan vi tu…"

The words became wind—carrying Thor's lightning in focused spirals.

The rift core pulsed—giant heart of void.

Khan Sahib channeled Tale of Resilience (Shakir):

"Girda rehta haan—par khada ho janda haan…"

The words became a shield—protecting Thor from a massive bolt.

Thor roared:

"For Asgard! For the bridge!"

Mjolnir struck—core shattered.

Rift sealed.

Thor clasped Khan Sahib's shoulder.

"You fight with words. I fight with thunder. Together—we are unstoppable."

Khan Sahib smiled.

"Words are thunder, beta. They just take longer to arrive
