Synopsis
If I’m already the villain… I might as well rewrite the story. Waking up as Shigaraki Tomura years before canon should have meant one thing—eventually becoming All For One’s successor and the future enemy of hero society. He has no intention of letting that happen. With a newly awakened system and knowledge of what’s coming, he decides to take control of his own fate. Instead of blindly following the path laid out for Shigaraki, he begins building something different: influence in the underworld, a growing circle of villains… and a second identity meant to walk straight into U.A. His first step comes during the Sludge Villain incident, where he publicly intervenes, defeats the villain, and introduces himself to the world as someone who stands on the side of those labeled “evil.” Heroes see a dangerous new figure. All Might sees a threat to society’s ideals. But to the forgotten and rejected, he might be something else entirely. This is the story of a Shigaraki who refuses to be a pawn—and intends to change hero society from both sides.

Chapter 1: I, Shigaraki Tomura, Don't Want to Keep Acting!

"Yo, Kurogiri-san. Morning."

Inside a quiet bar tucked away somewhere in the city, a blue-haired boy with headphones hanging around his neck walked out of a back room, yawning lazily.

As he rubbed his head, he greeted the strange figure beside the counter—a bartender dressed in a waiter's uniform, his head and hands shrouded in black mist, calmly polishing a wine glass.

"Good morning, Shigaraki."

The figure known as Kurogiri nodded gently before asking in his usual composed tone, "Do you have any plans for today?"

"Plans? What's that?"

The blue-haired boy named Shigaraki Tomura tilted his head at first. Then, as if something had just occurred to him, he suddenly slammed his fist into his palm.

"Got it! How about we hit up a café and flirt with some older ladies? Perfect timing too—you don't even have a girlfriend, Kurogiri. Maybe this trip will finally lead you to true love!"

Kurogiri: "..."

"You know that's not what I meant…"

He felt an overwhelming sense of exhaustion. He had long known that Shigaraki Tomura was a troublesome child—but he hadn't expected him to be this difficult to handle. Even as his caretaker, Kurogiri sometimes had no idea how to deal with him.

"Yeah, yeah, I know," Shigaraki waved dismissively. "You mean go do something bad, right? What's the rush?"

He sat down casually at the bar, tapping the countertop with his finger.

"I want alcohol."

"You're still too young. It's not good for you," Kurogiri replied, turning to retrieve a bottle of juice from behind the counter and setting it down in front of him. "Drink this instead."

"Tch."

Shigaraki pouted, looking thoroughly disappointed. Still, he obediently finished the juice in one go. Then he hopped off the stool and walked toward the exit without looking back.

"I'm heading out. Keep in touch over the radio."

Watching Shigaraki's figure disappear, Kurogiri turned his gaze to the monitor sitting on the bar counter.

"Sir… is Shigaraki Tomura truly reliable?"

The next moment, a harsh, rasping voice echoed from the screen.

"I understand your confusion, Kurogiri. Do you perhaps feel… that Tomura is not fit to become that symbol?"

"..."

"I, too, have been troubled for quite some time… That child seems somewhat different from what I originally imagined."

A pause.

"But you must understand, Kurogiri."

"Shigaraki Tomura… is a genius."

As he spoke, the raspy voice released a chilling laugh.

"A genius even I must concede to. On the path of destruction… the talent he has displayed is something that forces even me to bow in admiration."

Kurogiri stiffened slightly. "I'm not worried about Shigaraki's abilities…"

"Oh? Then is it his temperament? Do you think he's merely a childish brat playing around? Then you've misjudged him."

Before Kurogiri could respond, the voice rang out again.

But unlike the earlier rasping tone, this time it carried soaring delight and unrestrained fanaticism.

"You'll understand soon enough… Kurogiri!"

"Tomura is the one I believe to be the true… ultimate evil."

Meanwhile, far from the bar—

After walking for quite some time and confirming that no one was tailing or monitoring him, the Shigaraki who had acted like an unruly child earlier suddenly let his expression darken.

"Damn it… It's already been a month. Every day I have to act like some lunatic in front of that old pervert. It's seriously disgusting. When can I finally kill him and go back to being myself?"

Yes.

"Shigaraki Tomura" was not originally from this world.

He was a transmigrator.

In his previous life, his name was Akira. One day, while playing a game, he got so excited after clearing it with 100% completion that he accidentally knocked over the glass of water next to his computer.

And when he woke up—

He had become Shigaraki Tomura from My Hero Academia.

Worse yet, he was already the version who had been taken in by the ultimate villain All For One and was currently under his "careful cultivation."

My Hero Academia—a world that, on the surface, resembles One Punch Man in its power system, yet is fundamentally different in reality.

In this world, most humans possess abilities known as "Quirks." These powers vary wildly. Some can control flames. Some enhance physical strength. Some can grow to enormous sizes at will…

But as the saying goes, when individuals wield extraordinary power, disorder follows.

Within such a society, new problems and hidden dangers inevitably emerged.

Human nature, after all, is easily inflated.

And when suddenly granted supernatural power, that tendency becomes even more pronounced.

"My Quirk is rare and powerful. I deserve higher status and authority. Why should I obey someone weaker than me and follow rules?"

"He's just a Quirkless loser—how dare he try to steal my girlfriend? That's like shining a flashlight into a cesspit!"

"I'm out of gacha funds. Working a job? Impossible. Stealing bikes won't solve long-term problems. Might as well rob a bank!"

All sorts of inexplicable confidence and twisted logic gave rise to a growing group within modern society—those who "harm others."

They are collectively known as Villains.

This term refers to those who rely on their Quirks to commit crimes and acts of evil.

Of course, where there are troublemakers, there will always be those who step in to stop them.

And so, a profession that once existed only in fantasy was born into reality—the Hero.

These individuals use their Quirks to serve the public. While carrying out various civic duties in daily life, they also shoulder the responsibility of subduing Villains.

In return, society compensates them through taxpayer money. Recognized by the state as a form of public servant, they are known officially as Pro Heroes.

In short, My Hero Academia is a world where Pro Heroes and criminal Villains clash against one another.

And Shigaraki Tomura—

Is one of those Villains.

Not only that.

In the original story, he is one of the central antagonistic bosses who runs throughout the main storyline.
