Noor opened her eyes with the pounding headache. She rememberd staying at 3 a.m. reading her favourite web novel ,"The cold Duke's Obsession." But now she wasn't in her room.
He looks around. The room was a luxurious as a museum, with silk curtains and goal -carved furniture, and the scent of jasmine lingered in the air.
"Where am I?" he muttered, stepping towards the mirror.
Noor was stunned by what she saw in the mirror. Standing before her was a stunningly beautiful girl - blonde hair, blue eyes, and a strange Pride on her face. It wasn't Noor. It was Princess Isabella - the villainess who is slain by her on husband, Ryul with a sword at the end of the story.
" No...no! this can't be happening!" Noor puffed out her cheeks. "How could I possibly be the most hated character in this novel?"
Just then the door of the room opened. A small maid come in, trembling.
Your Highness... Ryul is waiting outside. He said that if you don't come down in five minutes, he'll leave for the anniversary celebration without you."
Noor was shocked. She remembered that on this day in the novel, Isabella (Noor) had caused of commotion at a party, causing the Ryul to hate her completely. And exactly one year later, he had killed her.
Noor took a deep breath and looked at her maid.
"Tell them I'm not coming, "Noor said calmly.
The maid's eyes widened. "But your Highness... you've been preparing for this party for weeks!"
Noor smiled, looking into her eyes in the Mirror. "The plan has changed. I don't want to go to the party and get discharged. I have to save my life. Go and tell them... that I want a divorce."
