The shoutings and scoldings from aunt Cassandra woke Riley up from her sleep as usual .. she is now used to being woken up in that manner. Her ordeal began after she Lost her parents to a road accident seven years ago. It still feels like a nightmare to Riley, she still can't believe her parents are gone just like that and never to be seen again even though she feels their presence and she vows to make them proud even though she is already losing hope of being free again. Riley shaked out of her thoughts the moment she Heard her aunt's hurried footsteps towards her room. She hurried out of the small space she leaves and just as she stepped out of her door..The moment she stepped out of her door, her face came in contact with her aunt's palm. The hats slap removed any iota of sleep that was still in her eyes and she became clear eyed immediately.
"You are really a worthless bitch Riley, what can I say, like mother like daughter, you couldn't find anything else to take from your dead mother except worthlessness" she slaps her harder this time. I hoped you go to meet your dead worthless parents one day"
Riley's pain wasn't from the harsh slap from her Aunt. Her pains were more of internal heartache from the words coming out of her aunt's mouth, even though this is what happens everyday, she still feels so much pain whenever Cassandra says stuffs this mean about her parents.
