Chapter 211 - Chapter 211 Please Wait, My Lord

Behind the revelry lies drunkenness and unconsciousness.

When Edmund woke up, he sensed something was wrong. He opened his eyes and was shocked to see a woman with a flushed face, timid eyes, and pretty features.

The woman's body was curled up in a ball.

Edmure was a 'gentleman', and he was shocked, wondering how he had ended up here in a daze last night.

Edmund got out of bed and dressed, but in her haste, she found her limbs weak and unresponsive. Looking up, she saw that it was already bright outside. This wasn't her own room, but a woman's elegantly decorated and fragrant boudoir.

Edmure felt a surge of anxiety. Such an elegant young lady's room must undoubtedly be a Westerling family women's room. He himself had indeed drunk too much last night, and everyone else had too much too. Even someone as large as The Mountain had passed out drunk and no one could lift him up; they could only leave him on the floor to sleep.

Edmund hurriedly dressed.

His matter was of great importance; the guest had trampled on the honor of the host and was intolerable to the Seven Gods.

Footsteps sounded outside the door: "Irenia Westerling, aren't you getting up yet?"

It was Lady Hibel's voice. Hibel, the wife of the Earl of Gavin, the mistress of Cliff Rock.

Ireneia?

Edmund remembered that Jenny had a younger sister named Eleanor, who had come to toast him last night, and he had praised the girl's beauty and loveliness.

Yes, I remember now, the girl is Irene Westerling.

The door was suddenly pushed open, and then Mrs. Hibel stared in horror at Edmure, who was standing there dumbfounded.

Both of them stared at each other, their minds suddenly going blank.

Edmure, however, possessed greater composure. He spoke first, stammering incoherently, "Madam, I...I don't know...really...I don't know what happened...and then...I'm here!"

"No!" Lady Hibel's voice was so loud that it startled even herself.

Mrs. Hibel rushed to the bedside, pulled back the covers, and let out an incredulous cry, "No!"

This is all disgraceful and damaging to our honor!

But why, in the fleeting moment when Elena covered her head in a panic, did Mrs. Hibel not sense her true panic?

Hiber turned around, her beautiful face already pale, her lips trembling and turning purple.

She was graceful and elegant, possessing a noble air that rivaled any true lady, despite being the daughter of a spice merchant who was looked down upon. But at this moment, her composure and poise were overwhelmed by her rage, and she pointed a finger at Edmure.

Hibel's voice trembled with heartbroken sobs: "...Edmü...My Lady...Irenia..."

"Madam... please calm down, Madam. I... I will make it up to you, I swear!"

"...This is simply...an indelible disgrace to the Westerling family..."

"No, no, madam, I assure you, no one will tell anyone about this. It's our secret." Edmure just wanted to disappear into the ground. However, footsteps sounded outside. It was Jenny's personal maid, Bull Zeli, saying, "Elena, get up quickly. Madam Jenny is waiting for you to have breakfast."

Before she could finish speaking, Zeli's massive body blocked the doorway.

"Madam, Lord Edmure…" Zeli's smile slowly froze and stiffened.

Edmure lay frozen on the ground, his face grim, as if he had been punched several times.

Elena began to cry softly, her small body trembling, looking very pitiful.

"No!" Zeli's stiff face gradually turned into anger. She projected her past grievances of being bullied onto Elena. She strode in, her eyes burning with fierce flames. "Lord Edmure, what did you do to my Miss Elena last night? You beast!"

Zeli rushed straight at Edmure.

The room wasn't large, but it had enough space.

Edmure lowered his head to avoid Zeli's slap: "No, no, no, stop!"

Zeli seemed to have lost her hearing, staring intently at Edmure. She feinted left and right, then suddenly lunged forward, grabbing Edmure around the waist. With a loud shout, she lifted Edmure up by the waist and rushed down the corridor, pretending to throw him off the third floor.

Below the main castle is a large open space with a bluestone slab floor.

"Zeli, put down the lady." Two women's voices rang out at the same time. One was Jenny's voice, which was very cold and stern, and the other was Xibel's voice, which was very panicked.

The two mistresses' orders were like a bucket of ice water poured over Zeli's raging anger: "Madam, he has humiliated Elena!"

"Ze Li, put the adults down! Don't make a fuss about this, don't let anyone know, it would be a disgrace to the Westerling family." Jenny's voice was calm.

"No, I will tell Lord Gregor."

"I order you to put the adult down first," Jenny said again, emphasizing her words.

Edmure was being held upside down, head to toe, but he wasn't blind. He looked out through the gaps in the corridor railing and saw his servants downstairs, as well as The Mountain and Bernie. They were all downstairs, looking up at him.

The shame made Edmure really want to be thrown off the building by Zeli and die!

This whole thing is fucking... disgusting!

Edmure was put down by Bull Zeli. He regained his balance but hurriedly said, "...The Mountain...my lord...calm down...we need to calm down..."

"I am calm!" The Mountain's voice was as cold as ice hitting Edmure's bare chest. "Lord Edmure, you must marry Ireneia Westerling."

"…No…Impossible…" Edmure instinctively and resolutely refused.

"Impossible?" The Mountain said indifferently. He glanced at the generals who had rushed over after hearing the commotion. "Lord Edmure, then you will not be able to return to Riverrun. Zelly, seize Lord Edmure. —Lover, Pollifer, Leonard, Bernie, tell the brothers to leave all of Lord Edmure's guards behind."
