Chapter 110 - Chapter 110 Ordinary People

Archil Lannitz arrived on horseback.

He was on horseback, so naturally he could see far from where he was sitting.

Sweet-talking Raff was a man who got along well with all sorts of people in Casterly Rock. Sweet talk was his talent; no nobleman disliked flattery, and even if they knew that Sweet-talking Raff was spouting insincere compliments, the nobles still loved to hear it.

Sweet-talking Ralph and Archie Lannitz are close friends.

Before following Gregor Clegane to Clegane Village, Sweet-Talking Ruff and Sir Gregor were both 'celebrities' in Casterly Rock, known for their'sweet talk' and 'evil'.

As a centurion and a branch member of House Lannister of Casterly Rock, Archil Lannister had many opportunities to come into contact with Sweetmouth Ruff and Ser Gregor.

Before Gregor decided to return to his territory, he and Sweetmouth were officers in the Duke's Royal Guard. Gregor was a general, the leader of Sweetmouth's squad, and a sergeant.

The city garrison and the Duke's Royal Guard were closely connected, and all the centurions knew each other well; most of the centurions were distant relatives of the Lannister family.

Archie knew that Sweet Talk's sword was just as powerful as his words.

A sweet-talking person may have a sweet tongue, but their heart is anything but sweet; it's probably all black.

As soon as Achille met Sweetmouth's gaze on horseback, he understood Sweetmouth's intention.

Achille immediately understood what was going on.

This is a little trap that Sweet-Talking Ralph devised to teach the Ironborn a lesson.

He rode his horse into the circle of people and saw the three Ironborn at Polliver's feet. One of them was already dead, and the other two were still breathing, but they were clearly not going to survive either.

"Who's harassing a woman from the West in the street?" Archil shouted. He glanced at the Ironborn, who were enraged, but none of them rushed forward.

The Western Garrison arrived, its soldiers clad in fine armor and wielding excellent longswords. Without a word, they surrounded the Ironborn. Shields pressed tightly together, longswords protruding from the top edges, aimed at the Ironborn.

The second group of iron-type soldiers who jumped ashore stopped there, not daring to come any closer.

The arrival of the Casterly Rock garrison emboldened the people of the Westerlands, and more civilians joined the outer encirclement with weapons in hand.

Everyone ignored the three Ironborn lying in pools of blood, and instead glared menacingly at the others.

Upstairs in the restaurant, Demon Mountain shouted, "Boss!"

The shopkeeper had been waiting outside. Upon hearing the summons, he immediately came out, nodding, bowing, and smiling obsequiously: "Sir, what do you need?"

"liquor!"

"Yes, sir!"

Soon, coarse grain liquor from the West, cider and wine from the Riverlands, wine from the Reach, and wine from Green Pavilion Island were brought up and placed on the Mountain's table.

The shopkeeper didn't dare ask Lord Demon Mountain what kind of wine he liked, so he brought out all the wines available.

"roll!"

"Yes, sir!" the innkeeper replied obediently, retreating outside the door to await the Demon Mountain's summons once more.

Demon Mountain poured himself a drink and watched the situation at the dock.

*

These five iron ore ships belonged to Count Gould Gould, whom the Mountain had met. Count Gould Gould was the leader of the Warhammerhorn Legion, a valiant warrior, and a close friend of Victarion Greyjoy, the Grand Admiral of the Iron Fleet. He had three sons and twelve daughters. His three sons were triplets, and the three boys looked exactly alike.

The Mountain didn't know which of the triplets was the boy now standing before Archie negotiating, nor did he care. Right now, the Ironborn were at a complete disadvantage, both in terms of the situation and their numbers. Furthermore, the Ironborn had lost morally; they were the ones who first harassed the women of the Westerlands and were then stabbed to death by civilians. Being killed by ordinary civilians not only meant the Ironborn had lost all honor, but it would also be a disgrace to them if they went back and told others.

Polliver's acting talent, like his artistic interest in human organs, is outstanding.

The crowd from the Western Frontier below was in an uproar. They weren't fighting for justice for the two humiliated women, but rather for finding an outlet for their resentment towards the Ironborn.

The public particularly hates iron.

For centuries, the Ironborn have plundered the people of the Westerlands, leaving these people with a heavy history of blood and tears. Centuries ago, the Ironborn enjoyed a glorious era, ruling over much of the southern coast, the western coast, and the Riverlands coast, and even penetrating deep inland. This history of blood and tears has been passed down through generations in the hearts of their people, right up to this day.

The people of the Westerlands hate the Ironborn to the core!

Although the bald man looked a bit abnormal, he single-handedly took down three strong iron-willed men, and he immediately became a great hero in the eyes of the onlookers.

Given this social climate, it would be impossible for Archie to arrest Polliver, let alone the fact that he wouldn't dare to do so!

The Demon Mountain tilted his head back and drank a large glass of wine.

The latest novels are first published on 69shuba!

If Count Giord Goebbels had any sense, he would understand that the Westerlands were already fed up with his constant price hikes and insatiable greed, and had reached the limit of their tolerance. Any further and it would be igniting the flames of war.

Regardless of His Highness's considerations, the Mountain had already planted a seed of revolution. The world was about to descend into chaos, and the iron ore resources of the Iron Islands were indispensable and highly coveted. The shared hatred of the Western Frontier people also gave him greater confidence to lead his army to attack the Iron Islands; driven by hatred, the soldiers would fight with all their might.

Downstairs, Centurion Archil was equally impolite. During his negotiations with the Ironborn's young leader, he suddenly reached out and slapped the leader hard across the face. As the Ironborn raised their great axes in a shout, the garrison's shields pushed forward together, and the crowd shouted loudly, suppressing the Ironborn's arrogance once again.

"Gran Gubler, you must come with me. I am handing you over to our Duke. Your five ships are not to leave port until you apologize and make compensation for harassing our respectable women," Archie shouted sternly.

"Well done!" The Mountain smiled.

He poured himself a full glass of cider, sniffed it, and realized the Tully family's cider from the Riverlands was indeed excellent. The aroma, color, and taste were all superb. The Riverlands' vast, fertile lands were even more enticing. In contrast, when the Westerlands lost its gold mines, it became a barren, mountainous wasteland with little arable land.

However, the biggest crisis for the time being is not the depletion of the gold mines, but the White Walkers from the north.

Fortunately, the gods appointed House Stark to guard the North, and the West was safe until the North was completely destroyed. It seems that it will be very difficult for the White Walkers to wipe out the North.

Magic Mountain shook his head, banishing the events of a few years from his mind.

One must eat one bite at a time, and walk one step at a time; let's focus on the present. In the first month of marriage, a husband must take good care of Jenny, sowing his seeds of love and affection in her vibrant life—this is a husband's responsibility and glorious duty.

Judging by the timeline, Bran Stark in the North has already been pushed off the tower by Jaime Lannister, successfully setting the stage for future conflict between the two families. King Robert is still hunting boars in the Wolfwood in the North and won't return for another month. A month later, Tyrion, along with Jon Snow and Benjen Stark, will head to the Wall to fulfill his ultimate dream of standing on top of it and taking a piss.

Thinking of the little devil, the Mountain was actually looking forward to it.

Well, there are some things we need to start doing.

Since we're here, we can't leave empty-handed, right?

Since death is not an immediate concern, who wouldn't want money, beauty, status, power, honor, and the fleeting pleasures of the world, no matter how you look at it?
