Chapter 2 - Getting Money.

It's been a long time since I had to worry about money. How should I make money? I can't very well get a job… can I?

A noble Immortal Emperor working as a waiter… the scene is just so beautiful I dare not imagine.

No.

Stocks? I remember in my first life that crypto currency was cheap now. But… there is a long time till I can see results from that… also I don't have a computer.

No. It takes too long time until I see results.

I glanced over at my new servant. YES! Rich people can be found everywhere, but good rich people are rare. So? Can't I just graciously help these people to the right path?

Join Gu Feng's course to be guided to positive karma, which costs only obedience. YES. I'm a genius.

Imagine if Jeffrey Epstein had joined this course…

What atrocities could not have been stopped?

The more Gu Feng thought about it the more convinced he became.

Now that he had found the way all that was left was to walk it. He walked out of the alley with the vampire in tow.

"What is your name?"

"It's Victor, my lord."

"Victor, do you know any rich people around here with a bad reputation?"

"Yes, master, there is one with a particularly bad reputation, he comes from old money, but the amount of sexual crimes he has been accused of can be stacked to reach the height of a man."

"Ohh?"

"Lead the way."

"Yes, master."

After they finished speaking they disappeared in a flash.

Washington.

Forks.

Cullen House.

"Do you really need to use all these pots and pans for cooking? It's such a hassle to clean."

"Yes, Alice, I need to use all these."

Hmph.

"What about the plates? No one here is going to eat your food, mom."

"Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence."

Esme sneered.

"Sorry, I just want to go back to reading my book, it's high stakes now."

"Yeah yeah, just dry those plates and then you can go, I will handle the rest."

"Thanks."

Alice excitedly bounced over to the wet plates and picked one up, just as she saw the water droplet fall from the plate to the ground she froze.

The world around her changed, it became dark and wet.

She looked around but she didn't panic.

"A vision?"

Just then she heard a voice. She turned her head and glanced into the alley, inside two silhouettes stood facing each other, but one of them was held by the neck and pushed up against a wall.

Her eyes were drawn to the body laying closer to her, it was a woman, her eyes wide open staring at her, her face filled with despair and horror.

Alice felt uncomfortable and looked over at the two silhouettes again.

"What… are… you?"

Alice strained to hear their conversation.

"Vampire… stronger… immortal."

 "What … strongest… forces?"

Alice looked confused… forces?

"The… Volturi… Cullens… Denali…"

Alice's eyes shot up in suprise… us?

She tried to focus on the silhouettes, to see their features, who was inquiring about us?

Just when the man's features were getting clearer.

"Tsk…"

"GU FENG!!!" A guttural roar of pain and despair exploded in her head, a searing explosive white pain flashed in her head.

The vision shattered like glass and she fell to her knees, she was back in the kitchen, Esme was standing right next to her, looking at her with a worried expression, the plate was shattered into pieces and spread across the floor.

"Alice, Alice are you okay?"

Alice clutched her head, she felt like her head was about to split open. This was the first time a vision had hurt.

"I'm… I'm fine, it just *hiss* hurts." She said as she let out a hiss and felt the world start spinning.

"Carlisle come here, quick."

A second later a figure appeared in the kitchen.

"What happened, I heard the plate break?"

As he asked that more people appeared in the kitchen, it was the whole Cullen coven… or family.

They looked at Alice who was kneeling on the ground with worried expressions.

Carlisle stepped forward.

"Alice, what happened."

"I… I got a vision, it was unusual, I was peeking into an alley where two silhouettes were talking and one of them was held against the wall by his neck, I think he was a vampire."

"Then what happened."

Alice took a deep breath to try and suppress the pain.

"Then they mentioned us, the Cullens. I tried to focus, to see their features, but… then I heard a click… like someone was clicking their tongue and then a scream rang out… I think it was a name, but that scream, it was filled with despair, anger and pain."

Carlisle looked solemn.

"Then… the vision shattered, and I felt a searing hot pain in my head… ouch."

Alice closed her eyes in pain.

All the Cullens looked at each other in bewilderment and then back at Alice.

This was new?

"Take Alice to the living room to lay down… I need to make some calls, see if anyone knows anything about this."

Carlisle flashed away.

Random City.

Outside a rich guy's mansion.

"This is the place?"

"Yes, master."

Gu Feng looked at the mansion in front.

This guy seems rich enough. Just as he was about to make his move he felt a vague gaze.

He turned his head in one direction and frowned.

Someone tried to spy on him? In this world? Someone tried to spy on an Immortal Emperor? Even in his previous world few dared… and it usually came with heavy costs and low returns.

Hmph, they must have at least become an idiot or died, right? They really overestimate themselves.

But… how did they know about me? Who was it… should I deduce?

"Master, is something wrong? Is this one not up to par?"

The question brought him out of his stupor. It doesn't matter who they were, what could they do anyway? They probably saw nothing, and paid with their life.

"Let's move."

As the words fell he disappeared from his spot and appeared at the door to the mansion, Gu Feng kicked open the door and walked in.

The loud sound alerted the owner. A middle aged man well groomed but with a sinister glint in his eyes appeared, you could tell he wasn't a good person.

"Who are you!? Get out, I will call the cops." The man yelled.

Gu Feng looked around and then his eyes landed on the middle aged man, and he took a step forward and appeared in front of him, grabbed him by the neck and slapped an obedience seal on his soul.

He let go of his neck and he fell to his knees, where he took on a kneeling position.

"My lord."

Gu Feng nodded.

"Where's your study?"

The man stood up and bowed respectfully.

"Right this way master."
