Chapter 1 - 1: Twin Eyes Beneath the Blue Sky

On a popular Japanese livestreaming platform, two well known streamers were locked in a heated PK match. Facing his opponent on screen, Shion smirked casually. His fingers moved in exaggerated hand signs as he cheerfully launched into a rapid fire verbal assault, politely greeting the other streamer's entire family tree with sharp, rhythmic insults. His words flowed fast and clean, lively enough that the chat exploded with laughter. The momentum was perfect.

Then, without warning, the screen went black. Before Shion could even process what happened, the sharp crackle of electricity filled the room, followed by an intense burst of heat. Flames surged upward.

"Shit," he thought blankly. "I forgot to turn off the gas."

The Gojo Family, one of the Three Great Families of the jujutsu world. Outside the delivery room, several elders stood rigid with tension, their expressions tighter than battlefield commanders awaiting a decisive report. Some looked so anxious it seemed they were ready to storm inside and deliver the child themselves.

Then a cry rang out.

"He's born! He's born!"

The midwife's excited voice cut through the tension. The elders immediately pushed the door open and rushed inside.

What they saw made their hearts sink.

Two infants lay quietly in their swaddling clothes, placed side by side.

Twins.

The room fell into a stunned silence.

At that moment, one of the babies slowly opened his eyes. Clear, sky blue pupils shimmered like an endless firmament.

The Six Eyes.

The legendary Eyes of the Blue Sky, a rare constitution said to appear only once every several centuries within the Gojo bloodline. Since ancient times, they had been synonymous with absolute power.

The elders' faces lit up with uncontrollable excitement.

A successor.

The Gojo Family finally had a successor.

Several elders clasped their hands together unconsciously, their gazes filled with reverence and devotion as they stared at the infant.

"This one is the younger brother," the midwife reminded them softly.

The Great Elder picked up the baby and laughed warmly. "Excellent. Excellent. From this day forward, your name shall be Satoru. Gojo Satoru."

"Great Elder," someone hesitated before speaking, "what about the other child?"

A hand pointed toward the remaining infant, still lying quietly in his swaddling clothes, the elder twin of the pair.

The Great Elder's expression cooled instantly.

In the jujutsu world, twins were widely regarded as an ill omen. Twins were said to share intertwined fates, their existences influencing one another. In most cases, one twin would devour the other's potential in the womb, emerging as a prodigy while the other became an ordinary person devoid of cursed energy. In other families, that might be acceptable. But this was the Gojo Family. An ordinary person without cursed energy was nothing more than an unwanted burden.

"Satoru is the future of the Gojo Family," the Great Elder said coldly. "He must not be held back by useless baggage."

One of the elders frowned. "We can expel the child from the family. There's no need to kill him. He's only a newborn."

The Great Elder snorted. "Naive. The Six Eyes have not appeared in four hundred years. Now that they have, we cannot allow his twin to become his weakness."

"For the sake of the family, this child must die."

The Second Elder silently drew a dagger from his sleeve and stepped forward.

Just as the blade was about to fall, the infant opened his eyes.

"Holy shit!"

The Second Elder's hands trembled violently. The dagger clattered to the floor as he dropped to his knees.

"What is it?"

Everyone turned to look.

In the next instant, every elder followed him to the ground.

The older twin's eyes glowed with a pale blue light, deep and boundless, radiating an ancient, overwhelming presence.

Another pair of Six Eyes.

The Great Elder's legs gave out.

He had nearly ordered the death of a child blessed with the Six Eyes. His vision swam. In his haze, he could almost see generations of Gojo ancestors staring down at him in silent fury.

The Second Elder shook uncontrollably. The blade he had raised had been mere moments from the throat of a Six Eyes bearer. He had nearly become the greatest sinner in the family's history.

"Two children… both with the Six Eyes…"

The elders stared at one another in disbelief.

After a long silence, the Great Elder suddenly burst into laughter.

"Hahaha!"

"Heaven truly favors the Gojo Family!"

"To bless us with not one, but two children of destiny!"

"All that talk of twins being an ill omen was nothing more than outdated superstition!"

He lifted the older infant into his arms. "From this day onward, you shall be named Gojo Shion."

The baby stared at him calmly.

Then, without warning, a tiny hand reached out and yanked hard on the Great Elder's beard.

"Ow!"

The old man winced but forced a smile, not daring to show anger.

Shion's lips curled slightly, a faint hint of triumph flashing across his infant face.

So that's how it is, old man.

You wanted me dead, so I'll make you pay in advance.

Gojo Shion was Shion, the streamer who had died in a gas explosion after a power malfunction during his livestream.

He had reincarnated.

And not just anywhere.

He had been reborn into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, as the twin brother of Gojo Satoru.

My otouto is one of the strongest characters in the entire series, Shion thought. That pressure is insane.

Still, having the Six Eyes himself softened the blow.

But when memories of the future surfaced, irritation welled up inside him.

Kenjaku stealing Suguru Geto's body.

Satoru being sealed in the Prison Realm.

The fight with Sukuna.

The sudden, ridiculous slash that cut Satoru in half without warning.

No buildup. No logic.

Just nonsense.

And that final apology, saying he couldn't make Sukuna go all out.

Absolute garbage.

The real clown wasn't Sukuna or Satoru.

It was him, the idiot who paid to read the manga.

Gege Akutami doesn't know shit about jujutsu, Shion thought irritably.

He glanced at the baby beside him.

Satoru turned his head, their Six Eyes meeting.

For a brief moment, something strange passed between them, a subtle resonance, like a shared awareness.

"So this is the connection between twins," Shion mused.

Looking at his younger brother's curious gaze, he sighed inwardly.

My poor, clueless otouto.

You have no idea how rough your future is going to be.

But since I'm your onii-chan, I'll make sure you don't end up getting cut in half.
