For my returning readers: Yes, this is a remake of my previous series, Marked By The Numbers.
When I wrote the original, I was just starting out as a writer. The story had heart, but looking back, I knew I could do better. I wanted to slow down, dig deeper into the characters, and build a world that felt more alive. The ritual. The pendant. Kael's relationship with his mother. All of it deserved more space to breathe.
So here we are. A reimagining. A chance to tell the story the way it was always meant to be told.
