Casey's hands trembled as she pulled out her phone. She looked at Lina with such obvious anticipation that Lina almost laughed.
"Could you say it again?" Casey asked excitedly. "I want to record it!"
Lina blinked.
"Record what?"
"Your name. You said my name."
For a moment, Lina simply stared at her.
Casey looked completely serious.
With no other way to escape the situation, Lina sighed helplessly and repeated, "Casey."
The girl immediately stuffed her phone into her pocket, looking so delighted that Lina half expected her to run downstairs and do three laps around the hospital.
It took Casey a full five minutes to calm down.
When she finally realised how excited she had become, she rubbed the back of her neck and gave Lina an embarrassed smile.
"I'm sorry. I got carried away."
"It's fine." Lina smiled. "But what's your name? I know yours now, but I still don't know your friend's."
