"It's all here!" Ella shouted. "Wait a second...What is this title? And what happened to my other titles?"

Elanore double checked and triple checked her status, but nothing changed. The titles she'd previously had were gone, and only a single one replaced them—[Vampire Witch of Delusion].

Huh? What is that supposed to mean? Can it really be considered delusion if I was right the whole time?

The vampire witch closed her status and shrugged. "Whatever! I got my wish!"

A loud growl disturbed her musing, and Elanore whipped around, finding a large brown beast standing there.

Bear!?

The creature didn't give her time to process, and instead it took off charging at her right away. The bear's large frame slammed into her and sent her flying.

She screamed and slammed against the rock wall, her body imprinted on the stone. Her eyes widened, expecting that maybe a piece of her intestine would be hanging out from such an impact, yet her guts were intact. Her frame was maintained, and no blood poured out of her body.

Moreover, she maintained a perfect grip on her staff. The vampire witch thought to all of her spells in the game and decided to use one. Her eyes narrowed, glowing purple, and she channeled the strange feeling coiling inside of her body.

"[Inspection]!"

She didn't know what would happen, but the mana responded as if she was familiar with it. It was like a new pianist becoming a master suddenly, and the notes of her spell played in the air. The energy abided by her calling.

Dire Bear? Level 60? That's practically nothing compared to me!

Now that she focused on the monster before her, she noticed how slow it truly was. In the time that she processed all of that and cast her spell, the monster moved only a hair's breadth from its original spot.

It was like she'd entered a domain where she was the queen of all things. She started to notice the smooth vibrations in the air. Mana swirled about, distorting what should have been an otherwise normal scene. If she focused closer, she could gaze upon the complexities in the air.

Ella stood amused by the phenomenon. Little strings of mana seemed to intertwine with the fabric of reality, yet it was all too much for her adrenaline addled mind. Maybe I would understand it better if I had an energy drink again?

Though, returning to causal reality was as smooth as a thought. She raised her staff by the time the bear had taken its first steps. Elanore pointed her pink-tipped implement at the dire bear and channeled her spell.

"[Mana Dart]!"

A pink dart flashed forward from her staff, and it whizzed through the air. It soon broke the sound barrier, yet it was unrelenting towards the target.

Before the bear had any idea it was being attacked, the pink dart pierced its brain, and the bear's head exploded. Pink and spongy brain matter splatted all over the cave walls, and its body was ripped through by the projectile. It was like a 50 caliber rifle bullet, ripping through flesh.

At least, that's what Elanore thought at first. However, the actual impact was even greater.

The magenta bullet slammed into the side of the rock on the other side of the bear, and it started drilling a hole through the mountain. The entire place started rumbling, and Ella started panicking.

"Stop!" She yelled, projecting mana into her staff.

The little pink dart's journey through the mountain ended almost as soon as it began, obeying its master's command. Ella—with her power—had created a cave within the cave. This one big enough to fit at least three of those dire bears.

She took a deep breath, looking between her staff and the dead monster. She stared at each of them in disbelief.

Am I really this overpowered?

It was hard to imagine it. In the game it was easy to write off her one-shotting bosses when it happened behind a screen. However, when she observed it in real life, the effect was severe.

Though, the witch had no intentions of lamenting her position. She started jumping up and down.

"I did it! I did it! I did it!" Her voice sang out in the cave. "Na-na-na-na! I did it!"

She walked up to the bear, disregarding its guts splattered everywhere, and she poked its brown fur. "Can you believe it? Oh, sorry, I guess you don't have the guts to answer me anymore…"

While she cheered, a memory unlocked in her head. "That's right! I should be able to store you in my inventory...Speaking of which…"

She chanted, "Inventory!"

Though, out of all of the revelations, this one was the most jarring. Her entire array of items had disappeared. All with the exception of the clothes she wore and the staff she held.

"Are you freaking serious!? Do you have any idea how long I grinded for all of those things? I literally killed myself with grinding, you fucking…"

She noticed her audience lying dead on the ground again and sighed. "I apologize. I know it's rude to kill something and not use it, so I will store you in here, little buddy. Or I guess...Big buddy."

The vampire witch pushed out her free hand, and a pink mist coalesced in her fingers. It shot forwards and covered the bear's body, and once it settled, the entire corpse disappeared.

She gazed at her inventory yet again, finding that the bear arrived there. Elanore grinned, showing her pearly white fangs. "This is like a dream come true! No, this is a dream come true!"

The witch turned her head away and finally stared at the exit of the cave. Bright daylight shone in the early morning. Well, here goes nothing. There was no penalty for being a vampire in the day time in the game, but what about in reality?

She walked forwards and slowly pushed her hand outside of the cave.

"Tssss...Ahhh!" She shouted before laughing. "Just kidding."

Damn, maybe I should not have drank that many energy drinks before reincarnating as my character?

A forest presented itself in front of her, well within a steep mountain, and she was high up in the clouds. Though, the thing that was odd were little splotches in her vision of the forest. It was similar to her state before reincarnating, but she didn't imagine that energy drink effect would continue here.

She shrugged and stepped all the way out into the light. A flapping of wings in the distance caught her eye.

"Ooh! Is that a dragon?" The vampire couldn't be sure if it was a dragon or a wyvern. It looks a bit different than the ones that I remember.

She gripped her staff and began making her way down the rocks and into the forest. Elanore wanted to see what this world was like. The vampire wanted to know it all, and at the same time…

Her fangs started aching, and her tummy rumbled. "Am I seriously hungry already?"

She pulled out the mana crystal of the bear, and she stared at it in the filtering light. The crystal was a light brown color, and the light had a hard time penetrating. Yet it was not so hard to see through. It reminded Elanore of a muddied window, and staring at it made her remember her hunger.

The vampire sank her fangs into the mana crystal. For a second, she expected that it would be hard all the way through, but it was not. The two canines sank in, and they reached the gooey center.

Ooh, this one tastes like chocolate.

She sucked up the chocolate-flavored mana as if she was drinking from a straw. The little orb contained enough of that gooey goodness to make an extra large soda jealous.

Elanore sighed in contentedness once she finished it. Her hunger dissipated, and an old familiar feeling returned. It was the feeling of newfound energy that she got every time she slurped down those energy drinks.

She smiled and discarded the empty mana crystal into the undergrowth. "I never expected that mana crystals would taste so good. Are they all this good?"

A flash of inspiration sparked in her mind. "Maybe I can combine all of the different mana crystals to create some unique flavor?" She cheered once again and jumped around. "Yippee! I am not even through my first day in the new world, and I already have myself a goal. Take that Isekai Industries. I bet you are mad that I was reincarnated. There will be no corporate enshittification happening here. Nu-uh…"

While rambling and walking, she stumbled upon a water source. A large river presented itself in front of her, and it flowed steadily down the mountain. Elanore smiled again and stared at her staff.

"Luck is on our side today! You know what water means, right?" She waited for the staff to answer, but it simply did what staves do. "It means that we will find people, silly!"
