Chapter 1 – Ignored
Everyone sees success.
No one sees the pain before it.
Ayaan stood outside the shop, holding a small bag in his hands.
He was hungry.
He was tired.
But no one cared.
People passed him every day.
Some looked at him.
Most ignored him.
"Go away," the shopkeeper said.
"You have no money."
Ayaan nodded quietly.
He was used to these words.
At home, there was nothing to eat.
No father.
A sick mother.
And bills that never ended.
That day at school was worse.
The teacher asked for fees.
Ayaan stayed silent.
The class laughed.
"Poor boy," someone said.
"Why do you even come here?"
The words hurt more than hunger.
After school, Ayaan walked alone.
The sky was dark.
So was his heart.
He stopped near an old bridge.
Water flowed under it, fast and cold.
For a moment, he closed his eyes.
"What is my fault?" he whispered.
No answer came.
That night, something changed inside him.
Not anger.
Not tears.
A decision.
He would never beg again.
He would never wait for help.
If the world ignored him,
one day, the world would remember his name.
And when that day came,
no one would be laughing.
